« Transforms the user into a venomous hydra, granting the user poison-based attacks that damage over time. » Venom is a
Natural fruit of
Mythical rarity, with no M1, that arrived in Update 15. You manipulate venomous sludge that poisons everything it touches: almost every move leaves puddles and damage over time. When your Fury gauge is full, you transform into a giant humanoid hydra with three heads, with greatly increased damage and poison and 50% damage reduction. Its continuous ticks shred fruits that need to maintain their moves to hit hard (
Dough,
T-Rex,
Bomb,
Spider) and drain your opponent's
Instinct dodges to the point where it even counters a transformed
Dragon. It also shines in
Sea Events: its transformed [X], [C], and [F] rival
Magma against
Sea Beasts and
Rumbling Waters. The source ranks it among the game's most powerful fruits for its passives, damage, ease of use, and versatility in both farming and PvP. Curiosity: despite its transformation and gauge, it's not a
Beast fruit. It's the first Natural fruit to have both a transformation and a gauge (
Magnet, released with Update 30, is the second), and the first Natural to have had a
Power Meter, before
Shadow then
Spirit.
How to get it
Venom is purchased for 3,000,000 Beli or 2,450 Robux from the
Blox Fruit Dealer when it's in rotation (the live block below tells you if it's in stock), and it can also come out of the Dealer's gacha. The source ranks it among the difficult-to-obtain and expensive-to-buy fruits. Also plan for playtime: the
Transformation only unlocks at 300
Mastery, even though the [F], available from 50 Mastery, makes farming comfortable well before that.

| Z | Poison Daggers Mas. 1 |
You fire a burst of poisoned blades toward your cursor. If multiple blades hit at the same time, the target is stunned; used close enough to the ground, the move leaves puddles of venom. Holding the key sends more blades. Good stun, decent range and short cooldown, but the hitbox is small and only 1 to 3 blades do little damage. The principle reminds you of the non-awakened Dragon [C], the non-awakened |
|
| X | Noxious Shot Mas. 100 |
You gather the venom in your hands to form a big ball of poison, then you launch three splinters at once toward your cursor. They explode, poison, distort the victim's screen for a short moment, and leave Venom Miasma puddles if you're close enough to the ground. The move auto-targets, as long as you point in the enemy's direction, and its hitbox is generous; hitting a fast and distant target remains difficult. It breaks Instinct, except at the edge of the explosion where it dodges. Source stats: 9.5 s cooldown, 50 energy. | |
| C | Toxic Fog Mas. 200 |
You surround yourself with deadly smoke that deals 5 to 6 ticks to anyone who stays in your radius until the effect ends. Peculiarity: a single tick is enough to trigger 3 to 4 extra poison ticks behind it, like with the [X]. Good damage and very effective against Sea Beasts, but the range is mediocre and certain combos, the |
|
| V | Transformation Mas. 300 |
You accumulate a huge amount of venom and transform into a giant draconic monster with three heads, hydra-style. All your moves gain damage, the poison from puddles becomes much more violent and everything shifts in hue. You take 50% damage reduction, you become immune to basic M1s from |
|
| F | Serpent’s Wrath Mas. 50 |
You coil into a long serpent of venom and fly for 40 seconds. You start slow, but the lower your life goes, the faster you accelerate. Anything that crosses the serpent takes continuous poison, and releasing the [F] key triggers a small violet area explosion and big poison. With only 50 Mastery, it's the fruit's best farming tool for low levels: its poison lasts longer than other moves' (seven ticks) and its cooldown is short. It only breaks Instinct at the moment of the explosion, and the flight is limited in time. Source stats: 5.25 s cooldown, 25 energy. |
Transformé
| Key | Move | Preview | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Z | Poison Daggers Mas. 1 |
Hydra version: more projectiles, more damage, many more puddles on the ground, enlarged hitbox and range about doubled compared to normal form. Big DPS, slight stun, ideal for keeping pressure on a target; the hitbox remains narrow despite everything. Consumes 7.5% of the Fury gauge. | |
| X | Noxious Shot Mas. 100 |
You form a large sphere of poison then you spit three venom splinters at once toward your cursor. They explode, leave Venom Miasma puddles, distort the victim's screen and poison them for four ticks. Enlarged hitbox and range, preserved auto-targeting and slight stun, but the move is mostly single-target. Consumes 10% of the Fury gauge. | |
| C | Toxic Fog Mas. 200 |
You blow a huge cloud of venomous gas around you, with massive damage in the entire radius. |
|
| V | Transformation Mas. 300 |
You reabsorb the venom into a sphere and become human again, which gives you back access to your |
|
| F | Serpent's Wrath Mas. 50 |
Same serpent, but much bigger, escorted by three dragon heads that circle around you; its speed now depends on the total damage you've taken. As soon as you hit a target or release [F], the serpent explodes, wounds, leaves a poison puddle if you're near the ground, and the three heads go hunt nearby enemies to strike in turn, with a huge range. One target per head: if there's only one enemy, one head targets it and the other two disappear on hitting the ground. Unlike the non-transformed version, crossing an enemy with the serpent doesn't poison them. Excellent for grouping NPCs, catching fleeing targets, or hitting a Sea Beast with all three heads at once. Lasts 10 seconds and consumes 5% of the Fury gauge. |
Passives
You spawn with the Fury gauge at 50%. You must fill it to transform; it regenerates over time and drains during transformation, with each transformed move consuming a portion. Transformed, you gain 50% defense and enhanced attacks.
Certain attacks (Z, X, and transformed C) leave poison puddles on the ground. Any player in their radius suffers a toxic miasma with heavy damage over time; with X or transformed C, the victim's screen turns purple and shakes.
While transformed, your dash has 1.26x more range.
Transformed, landing after two air jumps or from a good height triggers a small explosion and leaves poison puddles, regardless of fall duration.
Combos 62
Combos from the official wiki (the fruit combined with swords, guns, fighting styles and races), sorted by effectiveness. The effectiveness (score out of 10) is estimated from the current PvP meta: fruit level, strength of the items used and stated damage. Remember to break the opponent's Instinct before starting, otherwise the combo won't land.

Strengths and weaknesses
- All moves break Instinct, the [V] excepted
- The poison adds damage over time to almost every attack
- The puddles last 10 seconds on the ground: enough to keep your opponent at a distance while your cooldowns tick down
- These same puddles drain your Instinct dodges, which makes Instinct almost useless against Venom
- Very versatile: it matches with almost every style and every weapon, and against the majority of fruits
- Formidable in close combat in tight spaces, and effective on the ground as in the air
- Big damage without knockback: perfect for farming without making NPCs flee
- When transformed, you take 50% damage reduction, you ignore basic M1s from NPCs, your Air Jumps are heavily boosted and leave toxic puddles
- When transformed, you walk on lava and ignore the lava puddles in the environment (raids,
Hot and Cold), unless a move pins you there by force like the [V] of awakened
Flame - The [X] auto-targets and distorts the victim's screen
- The transformed [C] has one of the largest areas of effect in the game and prevents dash, Air Jumps, and Instinct
- The [F] is accessible from 50 Mastery and its three seeking heads group NPCs or catch fleeing targets
- Very short cooldowns: 7.65 seconds average between moves according to the source
- Expensive and hard to obtain
- Limited range and moves a bit slow
- The poison puddles do nothing while you're in the air
- The Fury gauge fills on its own over time: inflicting damage doesn't speed it up, and it takes 1 minute 30 to fill it
- The poisons from [X], [C], and [F] don't stack: a new effect cancels the previous one, so you need to space out your moves
- No Transformation until the Fury gauge is full
- When transformed, you lose your Fighting Styles, your
Swords, and your
Guns - When transformed again: dash speed and distance reduced, larger hitbox, and the hydra model blocks your view without Instinct
- The [Z] has a small hitbox and does little damage when only 1 to 3 blades hit
- Difficult to hit a fast and distant target with the [X]
- The non-transformed [C] doesn't reach well and gets canceled by certain combos, like the [C] of Godhuman
- The [F] flight is slow and limited in time, and the bonus speed at low life isn't always useful
- Difficult to chain with certain moves
Our verdict
Venom requires patience, 3,000,000 Beli and 300 Mastery before seeing the hydra, but the investment pays off. In PvE, the poison works on its own and the transformed [F] turns farming into a walk at 50 Mastery. In PvP, its ticks break fruits with maintained moves, drain Instinct dodges, and the hydra form takes hits while you apply pressure. Two reflexes to develop: keep your Fury to transform at the right moment, and space out [X], [C], and [F] to not drown out your own poison. Good companions: Ghoul V3 to shorten cooldowns even more,
Shark V2 or V3 to ignore water,
Human V3 for damage, Shark V4 in team since your continuous ticks recharge its armor, and Ghoul V4 against Rumbling Waters, where you fill your race in seconds spamming your moves. The Strong Grip enchantment helps a lot to fill the dead time imposed by poison, by giving weight to your Sword and Gun. Last detail to know: Venom's visuals and hitbox are out of sync, so an attack can hit before the animation makes you believe it.
