The Pole (2nd Form) is a historic sword, present in most old builds for its strong stuns: its two moves break
Instinct and its [X] pulls in targets. Recent updates have left it behind though: very demanding
Mastery, high endlag and poor range on all its attacks.
How to get it
Get struck by lightning in
Rough Sea (Second/
Third Sea) while holding the
Pole (1st Form) in your hand: a message confirms the transformation when the lightning hits you. Very easy to obtain once you have the first form.

Strengths and weaknesses
- High stunning and damage; both moves break Instinct
- Hits Rubber users, unlike
Lightning - Good combo potential in any build
- Very easy to obtain with the 1st Form
- Short range on the entire kit and no mobility
- Very demanding Mastery (350 for the [X])
- Slow M1s and good delay before move effects
- No move harms
Sea Beasts - Must hit the ground or a solid object to break Instinct
Our take
PvE4/10
PvP6/10
A classic from old combos that's still worth it for its stuns that break Instinct, especially since obtaining it is nearly free. But with its tiny range and 350 Mastery, newer swords replace it without regret.
