Tushita, legendary katana 'with the power of the heavens and their stars', is one of the most coveted swords in the
Third Sea. High damage, fast moves with almost no endlag and even more power than
Yama - in exchange, smaller hitboxes than other endgame swords and less obvious combos to extend. Its name is blocked by the Roblox chat filter, which reads a swear word in it: in game, players type "Tusita" or "Tushi ta" instead.
How to get it
Tushita is obtained by completing the Tushita puzzle (Third Sea). In the infobox, the sword is a drop from boss
Longma on
Floating Turtle. Equipping it grants you the title 'Celestial Swordsman', just as
Rengoku gives the title 'Samurai'.

Moveset
| Key | Move | Preview | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| M1 | Normal Attack | Three slashes followed by a thrust lunge on the fourth strike. | |
| Z | Heavenly Lunges Mas. 150 |
You chain thrust strikes that stun in front of you - hold the key to extend the barrage - then finish with a heavy final blow: more range, more damage, and heavy knockback. It's this final strike that breaks cooldown 9s · energy 15 |

| X | Celestial Ravager Mas. 300 |
A dash that unleashes red slashes at crazy speed and leaves a brief 'X' mark on the area; if your cursor moves after the first volley, the second heads in the new direction. Breaks Instinct on close direct hit. cooldown 14s · energy 30 |
Towards the
Cursed Dual Katana
Level up Tushita AND Yama to 350
Mastery and reach level 2200: you then unlock access to the Cursed Dual Katana puzzle. Tushita is therefore not an end in itself, it's halfway to the mythical dual sword.
Strengths and weaknesses
- Very high damage, higher than Yama's
- Fast moves with little to no endlag: very strong in PvP and raids
- Fairly easy to hit even without prior stun
- Breaks Instinct: final hit of [Z], and [X] on close direct hit
- Good for farming with large AoE on [Z]
- Mandatory step towards the Cursed Dual Katana
- Smaller hitboxes than other endgame swords
- Weak at long range and difficult to extend in combos
- Large knockback complicates chaining; the 2nd volley of [X] is hard to aim
- Dash on 4th M1, less comfortable for grinding
- Difficult to obtain (puzzle), and isn't good for
Blade users
Our take
A safe bet in the Third Sea: fast, brutal, more powerful than Yama, excellent in PvP and raids for those who aim well. Its small hitboxes require precision, but it's a mandatory step anyway if you're aiming for the Cursed Dual Katana.
