Stun is one of the core mechanics of
Blox Fruits: it's any effect that directly interferes with your movements or abilities. Present since January 16, 2019, it affects both players and enemy
NPCs, even though some entities resist it or are outright immune to it. It's used to set up your next attack or to get a moment of safety, and it's precisely this principle that underlies combos: chains of moves, almost always built around a stun, which is difficult or even impossible to escape once launched.
The three types of stun
Classification is based on the number of blocked abilities. The associated durations are indicative: these categories are not official, and values vary within each group.
- Soft Stun: limits only one type of action. The term also unofficially refers to a very short Hard Stun (generally less than a second).
- Medium Stun: limits multiple types of actions, but not all. Around 1 to 2 seconds.
- Hard Stun: blocks all mobility and all moves. Often longer (beyond 2 seconds), because it's applied during attacks with prolonged effects - but not systematically.
Fruits that stun
All durations are in seconds. WA means "While Active": the stun lasts as long as the move is held, and the value indicated corresponds to the longest possible stun. A ? marks a value that the source page has not yet filled in.

How to escape a stun
- Dodging remains the primary counter, and some effects can be mitigated by other means.
- Transformed Dragon is completely immune to all forms of stun, regardless of the transformation version.
- I-frames are a special exception: they make you ignore stuns and, as a bonus, make you immune to all types of damage. Few moves grant them, and they're mostly from transformations.
- Hyperarmor prevents you from being stunned while you hold a move. Two sources: the Psycho (Tier 2) from the
Human race, and the Unbreakable enchantment, which offers a similar but weaker effect.
