Transformation - Fruits, Mutations and Styles

Transformation temporarily changes you into a form linked to your fruit, usually its animal form, with an adapted moveset. 14 Blox Fruits can transform, plus 3 mutations (Werewolf, Empyrean, Fiend) and 2 fighting styles whose transformation boosts the moveset.

How It Works

By activating the transformation ability, you take the form of the animal linked to your fruit (example: the mammoth form of Mammoth). Two exceptions: Natural-type transformations and Gas's transformation, which don't change you into an animal.

The mammoth form of Mammoth, the classic example of an animal transformation.

As for fighting styles, Dark Step and Death Step don't transform your character: their ability completely reshapes the moveset, which still counts as a transformation.

Overheat, the Dark Step fighting style's transformation, which doesn't turn you into an animal.

The 14 Fruits That Transform

Fruit	Transformation Name
Diamond	Encrust
Rubber	Transformation
Buddha	Transform (unawakened), Shift (awakened)
Phoenix	Full Transformation (unawakened), Blazing Plumage (awakened)
Pain	Last Stand
Mammoth	Transformation
T-Rex	Reptilian Scales
Venom	Transformation
Gas	Vapor Condensation
Tiger	Transformation (normal form and Blazing Form)
Yeti	Transformation
Kitsune	Transformation
Dragon	Imperial Evolution
Magnet	Maximum Overdrive

Mutations and Fighting Styles

Three mutations also have their transformation:

Mutation	Transformation Name
Werewolf	Transformation (normal form and Blazing Form)
Empyrean	Transformation
Fiend	Transformation

And two fighting styles:

Style	Transformation Name
Dark Step	Overheat
Death Step	Maximum Overheat

Special Cases

Non-Beast-type fruits still transform into their element: Rubber (V), Venom (V), Gas (V) and Diamond (Z).
Two fruits look like a transformation without being one: Eagle with Flight and Ghost with Ghost Busters. Eagle can even use its other items during its "transformation", which makes it a sort of versatile Phoenix, frankly overpowered.

Ghost Busters, Ghost's ability that looks like a transformation without being one.

As for fruits removed from the game, four also had their own: Falcon (Plumage), Revive (Resurrection), Dragon (Classic) (Transformation) and Leopard (Transformation).

Did you know?

Buddha and Rubber are the first fruits to receive a transformation, starting from Update 1; Magnet is the most recent (Update 30).
Diamond, Buddha, Phoenix, Pain, T-Rex, Gas, Magnet and Dragon are the only fruits whose transformation isn't just called "Transformation".
Buddha and Phoenix are the only transformation fruits with an awakening, which even changes the name of the transformation.
Buddha and Venom have no M1 once transformed; Diamond, Rubber, Phoenix, Mammoth, T-Rex, Gas, Leopard, Yeti, Kitsune and Dragon do.
Dragon is the most expensive transformation fruit.
In full form with Love, Phoenix, Gravity, Mammoth, T-Rex, Venom, Gas, Leopard, Yeti, Kitsune or Dragon, it's impossible to use other weapons than the fruit's abilities.
Mythical fruits have the most transformations, likely because they include the most Beast fruits.
