Dragon Trident is a
Rare sword from the
Second Sea that's easy to play: huge hitboxes, the largest area of effect of all swords on its [X] and good stun. Damage is low, but as a support or control weapon, it does the job very well.
How to get it
Dragon Trident drops with 5% chance by defeating the
Tide Keeper, the boss of
Forgotten Island (Second Sea).

Strengths and weaknesses
- The largest area of effect of all swords on the [X]
- Very large hitboxes: almost no need to aim
- Good stun, excellent combo starter
- Large knockback on [Z], useful against transformed
Buddhas - Knocks enemies to the ground: very effective against sky-campers
- Very low damage
- Only breaks
Instinct if the center of the vortex is well placed - No mobility and weak in aerial combat
- Unusable in water (the [X] goes underwater)
- High Mastery requirement for a Rare (150/350)
Our take
PvE5/10
PvP6/10
Use it as a control tool: its giant [X] starts combos for your fruit or combat style. Don't count on it for damage, and avoid it for farming because of the knockback.
