Eagle

UncommonBeast

Eagle gives you a real pair of eagle wings and a kit of raptor attacks based on explosive feathers. For a fruit ranked Uncommon, it ticks an abnormally high number of boxes: long stuns, decent damage, honest area of effect and above all aerial mobility that few fruits match, all while letting you use sword, fighting style and firearm in mid-flight. Its weaknesses are equally clear: you need to aim, its damage spreads across multiple hitboxes, and it suffers against fruits with long-range stuns or very large areas of effect.

How to get it

Eagle is bought for 550,000 Beli or 975 Robux from the Blox Fruit Dealer when in stock (check the live block below), and it can also come from the Dealer's gacha; its physical version rarely drops from beating the Tyrant of the Skies. It's then one of five fruits that can be upgraded via the Admin Panel, with the Mysterious Scientist, with three researches to validate. Aerodynamic Feathers, at 200 Mastery, costs 300 Fragments and 5 Angel Wings: climb to 2,000 studs altitude and stay in the air about 3 minutes until the Research Complete message, to gain approximately 18.5 percent flight speed. Flight Capacitor, at 300 Mastery, costs 800 Fragments, 2 Fool's Gold and 6 Angel Wings: damages enemies while you fly, and your feather gauge goes from 100 to 200 seconds while M1 and held [F] consume half as much. Avian Propulsion, at 400 Mastery, costs 1,500 Fragments, 5 Electric Wing, 3 Fire Feather and 5 Angel Wings: hit 10 enemies with charged M1, and you unlock an aerial dash by holding [F]. Upgrading everything altogether requires 400 Mastery, 2,600 Fragments, 3 Fire Feather, 5 Electric Wing, 2 Fool's Gold and 16 Angel Wings.

Moveset

KeyMovePreviewDescription
M1 Exploding Feathers You fire glowing homing feathers that explode on impact, with slight recoil. You can charge up to 1 second: at full charge, range doubles and damage climbs significantly. Each shot consumes 5 percent of the feather gauge (2.5 percent with the Flight Capacitor upgrade), whether you're in flight or on the ground. Watch out, a target too close can't be touched at all. By holding M1 you keep moving and release whenever you want, which also lets you stay in the air indefinitely, even at the height of a simple jump. Tip: dash, jump and M1 at the same time propel you farther than a normal dash, and even farther than a dash on the Skull Guitar, but only starting from the ground.

Z Wind Burst
Mas. 1
You blow out a huge whirlwind of explosive feathers that inflicts damage, pushes enemies far away and leaves burn traces on the ground. It's the same principle as the Dark Blade's [Z], just smaller. Excellent for cleaning up a bunch of enemies when farming and for turning a situation around when someone's got you pinned, and it's also a good combo extension. On the other hand it only breaks Instinct if you're close enough: from far away or on the edge it gets dodged, and a simple sidestep is often enough. On Tiki Outpost, aimed downward, it can pin enemies under the ground.
cooldown 7.5s · energy 15 · breaks Instinct
X Feather Storm
Mas. 35
You chain very fast dashes in a given radius while slashing and dazing everything inside. It's close to the Dual Flintlock's [X], except it doesn't need to be held, so it's impossible to cancel once launched. Looking upward, the area flips vertical: higher, but narrower. The stun is long and the area comfortable when you're surrounded, but range stays short, there are no i-frames (you can get hit during the attack without interrupting it) and the small startup time makes it readable. Both the barrage and the final blow are dodged by positioning on the edge.
cooldown 10.5s · energy 25 · breaks Instinct
C Bone Crusher
Mas. 80
You charge at your target; if you hit, you grab them, carry them very high in the air then smash them to the ground with considerable force. The grab is single-target and the climb height varies depending on the terrain. Damage is high for an Uncommon fruit, stun is long and there's almost no recoil: it's your best combo starter and extender. Well-placed, it can even catch someone behind a wall, as long as the target is on the trajectory. It doesn't break Instinct, but Instinct only cancels damage, not the stun. The downside: it misses easily, it's slow, it sometimes clips models and its stun isn't guaranteed.
cooldown 13.5s · energy 30
V Soaring Talon
Mas. 110
Propelled by your explosive feathers, you violently charge at the target and slash them while passing through, leaving behind feathers that explode. If you hit a solid surface, a small area explosion triggers at the impact point and pushes nearby enemies away. When all lacerations hit, damage is very good: it's an excellent finisher, particularly after a Godhuman [C]. It breaks Instinct on a direct hit, but the barrage that follows, an indirect hit and the edges of the explosion all get dodged. It moves you well, and with enough lag it can straight up launch you very far.
cooldown 21s · energy 60 · breaks Instinct
F Flight
Mas. 150
You take flight, you spin, you flap your wings and release a few explosive feathers in the process that slightly damage and push back what's around you. In flight, you can use absolutely all your abilities, including those that don't come from the fruit, while the feather gauge empties little by little. Tap the button again to land, dropping explosive feathers. Below 30 percent HP, your flight speed drops progressively, until 60 percent less at 0 HP, and flight cuts out if the gauge empties or you lose enough HP (about 25 percent with full gauge). With the Avian Propulsion upgrade, holding the button for at least 0.25 second in flight triggers a forward dash that costs 10 percent gauge (5 percent with Flight Capacitor). Don't forget that [F] is also a weapon: it breaks Instinct at close range and dazes slightly, its feathers hit Sea Events very well, and its speed exceeds that of Azure Embers, making it the best way to catch them. Finally, by positioning yourself at the right height above an NPC, you can hit them with your sword or fighting style without them being able to respond.
cooldown 4.5s · energy 80 · breaks Instinct

Passives

Feather Meter

You start with the feather gauge at 50% and flying doesn't require a full gauge. It recharges quickly when not flying (about 20 seconds to full) and depletes while flying, using M1, or taking damage.

Skins

You can unlock wing colors by crafting them or buying them with Robux (Permanent Eagle required), then select them in your inventory under Skins. Chromatic variants exist via the shop and Summer Gacha.

Combos 31

Combos from the official wiki (the fruit combined with swords, guns, fighting styles and races), sorted by effectiveness. The effectiveness (score out of 10) is estimated from the current PvP meta: fruit level, strength of the items used and stated damage. Remember to break the opponent's Instinct before starting, otherwise the combo won't land.

Strengths and weaknesses

  • One of the best mobilities in the game: flight lets you dominate pretty much any environment
  • You keep all your weapons in flight: sword, fighting style, firearm, nothing is blocked
  • Very strong in PvP, and entirely adequate for farming and Sea Events
  • Adapts to any stats build
  • M1 with good range, doubled when you charge it, with little recoil and possible vertical aiming
  • [Z] Wind Burst pushes far: excellent for getting clear when you're pinned, and good combo extension
  • [X] Feather Storm: comfortable area of effect and long stun when you're surrounded
  • [C] Bone Crusher: high damage for an Uncommon fruit, long stun, almost no recoil, and it can catch a target behind a wall if it's on the trajectory
  • [V] Soaring Talon deals very high damage when all lacerations hit, with an area explosion on impact: perfect as a finisher
  • Flight doesn't cancel immediately when you take a hit
  • You need to aim properly: several moves miss easily
  • Damage is spread across multiple hitboxes, so an enemy on the edge takes much less and can escape
  • All moves are dodged very easily at Instinct, and some leave an opening to be punished
  • Flight only lasts as long as the feather gauge, and it empties fast between M1, the dash and damage taken
  • Flight also cuts out if you lose enough HP (about 25 percent with full gauge), and below 30 percent HP your speed drops until 60 percent less at 0 HP
  • M1 not very powerful, hitbox offset far in front of you and ineffective in close combat: not practical for damaging in PvP
  • [Z] at medium range, avoidable with a simple sidestep and unreliable for starting a combo
  • [X] at close range, with no i-frames (you can get hit during the attack) and with a small startup time that makes it predictable
  • [C] single-target, slow, easy to miss and stun not guaranteed
  • [V] mediocre as combo extension, sometimes inconsistent damage and concentrated on a small radius
  • It suffers against fruits with long-range stuns and very large areas of effect

Our verdict

PvE7/10
PvP8/10

If you like mobile aerial PvP, Eagle is an excellent choice, and it stays very decent for farming or clearing Sea Events. Work on your aim first: its moves punish rough shots. For Mastery, aim for areas with high enemy density like Tiki Outpost or Chocolate Island, and chain [Z] then [V] and [X] before finishing with M1 and your secondary weapon. Against a raid boss that won't stop moving, like Tyrant of the Skies, Red Commander or Order, just let loose [X]: it will eventually enter the area, and you follow up with [C]. And if you play at night, the Falcon skin darkens your plumage to the point of making you very hard to follow, the Requiem doing almost as well.
