Kilo

Kilo was the cheapest Blox Fruit in the entire game: 5,000 Beli or 50 Robux at the Blox Fruit Dealer. The principle is simple - you vary your weight to crush the ground, launch rocks forward, and float under a parachute. Its three attacks hit in area of effect and could all disrupt or break Instinct, making it one of the rare fruits capable of punishing an opponent camping in the air. It was replaced by Rocket at Update 20 and is no longer playable: only admins and moderators still have access to it via admin commands.

How to get it

Kilo cost 5,000 Beli or 50 Robux at the Blox Fruit Dealer, with a chance to pull it from gacha. It also existed as a physical fruit, purchasable for 97 Robux at Wenlock's Dog House, next to Arowe in the Second Sea near the Forest Pirates - it was the only Blox Fruit in the game sold as a physical form, and this purchase was exclusively for trading with the Mysterious Scientist. Wenlock still pushes players to buy it to craft a Raid Microchip, but it's not recommended, and since Update 20 it's no longer Kilo that comes from this purchase, it's Rocket.  You lighten up and float in the air hanging from a parachute. Unlike other flight moves, you can only go upward with slight forward momentum. This is the only ability without area of effect, and the only one that doesn't require the ground.

Strengths and weaknesses

  • The cheapest fruit in the game: 5,000 Beli or 50 Robux, plus a chance from gacha
  • All abilities except [F] hit in area of effect
  • Each ability could disrupt or break Instinct
  • One of the rare fruits capable of punishing an opponent camping in the air
  • Very fast animations across the entire moveset
  • [C] 50,000KG stuns all hit enemies
  • [X] 20,000KG launches enemies in front of you and lifts rocks
  • [F] Lighten offers a convenient vertical climb, for example to reach the Mysterious Force of the Great Tree during Race Awakening
  • Its widespread availability made it the ideal fruit for buying Raid Microchips
  • No dash move: despite aerial mobility, you struggle to follow a fleeing enemy. The workaround is to launch Lighten first, then chain aerial dashes
  • Only one ranged ability, [X] 20,000KG
  • Hitting an opponent not on the ground remains very difficult
  • Using [Z], [X], or [C] above water traps you for 5 seconds in water if you're Shark race, and drowns you if you aren't
  • Except for [F], abilities need contact with the ground or a solid object - they won't trigger mid-air
  • Attacking from the air doesn't increase damage on any move, and the old high-altitude dive damage bonus was removed
  • Lighten flight only goes upward, with just a tiny bit of forward movement - not very practical for traveling
  • No passive and no Awakening to evolve it
  • Replaced by Rocket at Update 20 - impossible to obtain today except for admins and moderators
  • The source contradicts itself on the fall mechanic: its list of drawbacks mentions only one ability whose impact triggers after 5 seconds of falling, while its notes attribute this 5-second cap to all abilities except [F]

Kilo was the discovery fruit par excellence: 5,000 Beli, three area attacks, a parachute, and the running joke about the best fruit in the game. It still had a real niche - pulling down air campers - and the recommended races were Rabbit for ground mobility, dash distance, and staying in the air, or Shark to survive its own attacks above water, even though being stuck underwater for 5 seconds remained a major drawback. Since its replacement by Rocket at Update 20, treat this entry as a piece of history: only the Kilo Admiral still uses this moveset, just like the Smoke Admiral keeps the old Smoke.
