Almost everything you can pick up in
Blox Fruits has a rarity, displayed by a colored text tag: Blox Fruits, swords, guns, accessories, materials, scrolls, fishing rods and various paid items. Five classic ranks climb from
Common to
Mythical, each one slightly more rare and slightly stronger than the previous one, plus a sixth separate rank,
Premium, reserved for paid items.
The six rarities
| Rarity | Tag Color | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Common | Gray | Very cheap items, and rather weak |
| Blue | Still quite weak, but a bit more rare and a bit more effective | |
| Purple | Decent power, without reaching the higher ranks | |
| Pink | Solid items, good for all activities | |
| Mythical | Red | The rarest in the game, and extremely powerful |
| Premium | Yellow | Paid items, obtainable only with Robux or through DLC codes |
Why it's useful to know
- On a weapon, rarity mainly indicates how difficult the item is to obtain, and very often how much power it has.
- On a material, it indicates which recipes it enters: the rarer the item a recipe produces, the rarer the materials it requires.
- The five first ranks form a regular scale: each step is more rare and more powerful than the previous one.
- The sixth rank, Premium, breaks this logic. Since these are purchases, their real value varies greatly from one item to another: a yellow tag doesn't guarantee power, only the method of obtaining.
