Tiki Outpost is the
Third Sea island that follows
Sea of Treats and precedes
Submerged Island. A large arch of white and gray stone frames the entrance, a massive temple overgrown with vines and moss at the center, towers connected by suspended bridges on the sides. Most importantly, it's THE gathering hub for
Sea Events and
Leviathan hunters: the Spy,
Shafi, the
Shark Hunter, and the
Beast Hunter all converge here, and its rear port opens directly onto high
Danger Levels.
How to get it
Continue your Third Sea quests after Sea of Treats: Tiki Outpost takes over at level 2450. Important detail about the level range: as long as you haven't defeated
Tyrant of the Skies, the island covers levels 2450 through the maximum; once you defeat the raid boss, it closes down to 2450 to 2600. Multiple docks allow you to dock at the front and rear of the center, plus another at the front on the left side.
What the island looks like
A large arch of white and gray stone frames the island's entrance. At the center stands a massive and highly ornate temple, half-covered in vines and moss. To the left of the temple, along the edge, a tower of the same style shows the same state of disrepair. Further to the left, the terrain becomes more grassy and towers house high-level enemies along the edges, connected to each other by suspended bridges.
The vegetation blends classic trees, oversized purple plants shaped like flowers, and large yellow flowers that resemble sunflowers. The two sides of the island, where enemies are farmed, are nearly identical in structure and appearance.

The Spy and the Leviathan
Interacting with the Spy is the only way to make the Leviathan appear. You can bribe him once you've completed 15 to 20 Sea Events, then pay him 1,500
Fragments to get a hint about the Leviathan's status.
To actually trigger the spawn, the Spy must tell you "The Leviathan is out there! Go find it before it causes more destruction." From there, set out on group exploration with 5 or more players up to Sea Danger Level 6: that's where the
Frozen Dimension appears, where the Leviathan hides.
Tyrant of the Skies
Tyrant of the Skies is a Level 2600 Raid Boss that you summon on site. The procedure: kill 300 enemies at Tiki Outpost, that's 75 per eye, to light up the eyes of the falcon statues, then break the urns scattered around the area.
A small atmospheric detail: when you're in the Tyrant's spawn zone, the island renames itself
Liberation of Tiki Outpost. Leave that specific zone and the name reverts to Tiki Outpost.
Sanguine Art and Dragon Talon Sage
- Shafi teaches the fighting style Sanguine Art, further strengthening the island's connection to the Leviathan.
- The Dragon Talon Sage stands atop the tower on the left when you enter the island. He allows you to craft scrolls and enchant your guns, swords, and fishing rods with the scrolls you own.
- The Submarine Worker grants access to Submerged Island.
Good to know
- The island is known as the hub where players organize their Sea Events hunts, with the Leviathan at the top. Makes sense: it brings together several
NPCs whose conditions depend on Sea Events, and its quest givers serve as a fixed compass to know how far from the coast you are, as long as you stay within the island's level range. - The rear port opens directly onto higher Danger Levels, like
Floating Turtle and
Great Tree. That's where you need to depart to hunt Sea Events - it's faster. - The island is very heavy on visual effects: it lags modest setups.
- The Portal is located on the side where Sea Danger Levels begin.
Trivia
- It's the first and only island to introduce rain and cloud physics, even though rain is also visible outside islands in
Rumbling Waters and
Rough Sea. - Rain sounds are technically part of the background music: turn off the music and the rain becomes silent.
- The piece of land on which the castle rests is an island, in a lake, itself in an island. Tiki Outpost is therefore the only truly recursive island in the game.
Heaven Dimension and
Hell Dimension are found at the very top of Tiki Outpost. They only appear if someone completes the
Cursed Dual Katana quest.- Near the Submarine Worker, a room is filled with bookshelves. Behind a ladder hides a snake symbol, which the Fandom suspects announces a new race. Cranes carry the same symbol.
