Azure Ember

How to get it

Only during the Kitsune Shrine event. Embers appear in front of you, 2 to 4 every 30 seconds, and automatically go into your inventory as soon as you touch them. The event starts at the Full Moon, which occurs approximately 55 minutes after a server opens.

What it does

Offering to the Kitsune Shrine

You offer all the embers from your inventory at once to the Kitsune Shrine, and it gives you a single reward drawn from the list of the tier you've reached.

Embers offered	What you can receive
Less than 10	Nothing. The shrine is displeased and gives no reward
10 to 14	Beli and Fragments
15 to 25	750 Fragments, Aura Color Kitsune (number 17), Tailed Beast title (number 180), a Fox Lamp, a Kitsune Mask, a Kitsune Ribbon, or the Kitsune fruit in physical form

In other words, below 15 embers you completely miss out on the real rewards. You might as well wait until you've filled your stock.

Collecting embers efficiently

• Kitsune, Buddha, or Yeti with a Pilot Helmet or Dino Hood are the recommended combinations to catch embers easily. Awakened Magma and Ice remain a good choice: they walk on water, so you run from one ember to the next.
• Embers have a hitbox: you can therefore send a Flash Step or any teleportation move onto them.
• A private server is highly recommended, since the Full Moon occurs approximately 55 minutes after server startup.
• You don't need to stay near Kitsune Island for embers to appear, but you must find the island for the first time to trigger the event.
• You cannot pick up an ember spawned for another player: everyone collects their own (note added to the page on 16 September 2026).

Good to know

• Azure Ember is also used for weapon Upgrading. The Fandom links to a shared improvements table that it doesn't detail on the page.
• Contradiction to note: the page claims in its trivia that a total of 10 Azure Ember is enough to buy everything that requires this material, while the offerings table requires 15 to 25 embers for the right tier and the stack goes up to 25.
• The word "Azure" comes from Spanish "Azureus", in other words "Azul", which means blue.
• The ember is a simple recoloring of the Blaze Ember, with a slight shape adjustment.
• Azure Ember, Blaze Ember, Dinosaur Bones, Dragon Egg, Leviathan Heart, Fire Flower, and all the Berries are currently the only materials that have a physical form in the game.
