Summon Sea Beast is a permanent tool unlocked at 10,000,000
Bounty or Honor. It spawns up to three
Sea Beasts near the sea, with 18 seconds cooldown between invocations. Since Update 20 they no longer deal any damage to
NPCs: it has become a purely PvP tool, useful for harassing an opponent or discouraging teamers.
How to get it
Reach 10,000,000 (10M) Bounty or Honor: the tool is acquired permanently. You keep it even if you drop below 10M, and even if you later switch to a team where you don't have 10M+ Bounty or Honor. You must be near the sea to activate it. When you cross 10M, the message "You've awakened a hidden ability." appears at the top of the screen and you get a title: Warlord of the Sea (#024) with 10M bounty,
Admiral (#027) with 10M honor. The message is listed on the System Messages page and both titles on the
Titles page. The tool's own page no longer mentions them: a sentence added on 25 September 2026 was removed the same day.
How it works
- Up to 3 Sea Beasts summoned at the same time, with 18 seconds cooldown between each use. The limit of 3 applies to the entire server, not just you.
- Activation only near the sea.
- Since Update 20, summoned Sea Beasts no longer deal any damage to NPCs. They continue to target them, but without removing any of their health.
- They still harm players engaged in combat against you, however.
- They appear in the direction your character is facing.
- Upon invocation, the "Haunted Halls" theme plays, exactly like for a real Sea Beast, and the sound effect is that of a Race V3 ability.
In
First Sea
You keep the tool when you go back to First Sea, and according to the source page you can use it there too. The page has said so since 4 August 2026, adding that it is recent and may be a bug.
Until 5 October 2026, a note on the same page said the opposite: tool kept, but unusable in First Sea. It was removed that day. The page's history now files the change under Update 30, even though the Update 30 patch notes say nothing about it and the mention appeared a month before that update came out. So the tool works in First Sea, but no patch note says since when.
Nothing changes in Second and
Third Sea.
Summoned Sea Beasts
- Their HP depends on your level: at Lv. 2800, they reach 42,000 HP. A real Sea Beast has 41,999, which is essentially the same.
- Their health is capped compared to a real one, but their attacks deal exactly the same damage.
- They never attack you: they behave like allies.
- They don't target other Sea Beasts, whether summoned or natural.
- They drop absolutely nothing when they die, even for whoever summoned them.
- If there's no enemy nearby, they disappear, just like real ones.
- A summoned Sea Beast cannot harm its summoner: that's the simplest way to distinguish a "Fake Sea Beast" (or "Fake SB") from a real one.
- They fill your
Race V4 gauge as much as a real Sea Beast does, which makes them handy for training your V4.
In PvP
- It's a good way to harass an opponent, and a true deterrent to teamers: the beasts harass them and stun them.
- If a summoned Sea Beast kills a player already engaged in combat with you, you get their Bounty or Honor. If it kills someone who never touched you and wasn't in combat, you get nothing.
- The hitbox is difficult to place, and its range is limited when it bounces near the water's surface. The tool works best at ground level.
Good to know
- Old bug: when summoned Sea Beasts could still hit NPCs, they would steal kills from you and prevent you from getting drops. The issue came back often against
Darkbeard, against
rip_indra True Form, and during the
Dough raid. This nuisance is what motivated their nerf. - Admins can exceed the limit of 3 with the /opfun command.
History
- Update 8: release of Summon Sea Beast.
- Update 20: summoned Sea Beasts can no longer deal damage or stun NPCs.
