Human

Race

Human is the most common starting race (62.5% chance when creating an account), but don't be fooled - starting from V2, it's a true duelist race, with doubled Flash Step and Last Resort, which increases your damage when your HP drops. The quintessential glass cannon profile: lots of damage and mobility, zero defense.

How to get it

It's the most common starting race: 62.5% chance to start the game with it. You can also obtain it through the Shop, from the NPC Tort, or through the Event Shop / Death King. - V2: purchased from the Alchemist, like all other races except Draco. - V3: defeat the bosses Diamond, Jeremy, and Orbitus. - V4: complete the Trial of Strength challenge.

Versions V1 to V3

Limit BreakA rage gauge fills up while fighting: each percentage of gauge adds the same percentage of damage, capped at 100Rage lasts longer and the cap increases to 150%

Visually: in transformation, the character moves erratically and gains a red aura that grows with the Limit Break percentage.

Strengths and weaknesses

Strengths

  • Insane mobility from V2 onwards: Flash Step with doubled range and reduced cooldown, lengthened dash, bonus dodge with Instinct.
  • Last Resort is a real alternative to Cyborg's Energy Core for one-shot combos, with excellent damage at 50% HP or less.
  • Psycho: crazy mobility for chasing or dodging, hyper-aggressive gameplay by dashing around the opponent, and Tier 2 makes your moves uncancelable: extremely useful against anything that deals damage over time (T-Rex's Prey Mark, Infernal Pincer's burn, or Cyborg in general).
Psycho at Tier 2, which makes attacks uncancelable.
  • Limit Break: insane damage potential. At high percentages, over 7,000 damage in a single hit is possible with the right move, and teamers fall much faster.
Limit Break at Tier 2, the Human V4 rage gauge.
  • The perfect pick for a glass cannon or ultra-aggressive build, especially with high combo potential fruits like Dough.

Weaknesses

  • Very oriented towards damage and Flash Step: only one playstyle, which won't suit everyone, and zero defense.
  • Last Resort is risky in PvP: staying at low HP to hit harder exposes you.
  • Psycho's invisibility remains detectable by Instinct.
  • Limit Break takes time to ramp up in power before dealing real damage.

Good to know

  • Human + Kitsune Ribbon: Flash Step cooldown drops to 7.5 seconds. Beware, Psycho at V4 (both Tier 1 and Tier 2) is not affected by accessory bonuses.
  • The race grants a permanent additional dodge with Instinct.
  • Along with Cyborg, Human is one of only two races that give no buff at V1.

Strengths and weaknesses

  • Insane mobility: doubled Flash Step, lengthened dashes, bonus dodge with Instinct
  • Massive damage at low HP with Last Resort: over 7,000 damage in a single hit is possible with the right move
  • Perfect for glass cannon or hyper-aggressive builds, especially with combo fruits like Dough
  • Psycho Tier 2 makes your attacks uncancelable: very strong against damage over time
  • The big burst makes fights against teamers easier
  • Risky in PvP: you need to stay at low HP to maximize damage
  • Only one playstyle, very aggressive, which won't suit everyone
  • Psycho's invisibility remains detectable with Instinct

Our take

PvE5/10
PvP8/10

The race for aggressive players who love risk: tons of mobility and monstrous burst potential at low HP. If you prefer playing safe or farming peacefully, pass on it.
