Secret Levels

How to get it

There is only one source: the Island Secrets of the First Sea, the hidden quests and tasks on the islands reworked by Update 30. Each completed secret grants 5 Secret Levels and raises your personal cap by 5.

Two examples of tasks given by the source:

• solving an environment puzzle, such as the tavern quest at Pirate Village;
• defeating an Awakened Boss by completing its awakening puzzle within a 5 minute window.

The numbers

Thirty-nine of those secrets sit on the islands, three per island across thirteen islands, which makes 195 levels. The fortieth is called The Finale. It is not on any island: it triggers at the Middle Town teleporter once every other secret is done, and it hands over the last five levels.

How they work

• A secret level is a normal level: it grants its stat points, to spend up to your new cap.
• The cap rises as soon as a secret is finished, whatever your level. A secret done at level 100 takes your cap to 2805, so doing them early wastes nothing.
• When levels are waiting for you, the message "Secret Levels Available!" shows above your EXP bar.
• An NPC sometimes hands over 2 levels instead of 5. Talk to it again until you get the rest, and do not leave the server before that or they are gone. Your cap did rise by 5 though: the 7 September 2026 fix states that EXP earned anywhere else, from quests, fishing, Raid Bosses or some Sea Events, brings you back up.
• Only one secret can be replayed: Unexpected Guest, the hidden cloud in the Lower Skylands. It is the only way back if the bug cost you levels after you left.
• The 5 September 2026 fix had already dealt with secrets granting 4 levels instead of 5.

The 40th secret: The Finale

You need the other 39 secrets done before it triggers. Then:

1. Go to the Middle Town teleporter.
2. Select the islands one by one in the order below, without teleporting: you pick the island, you do not travel to it.
3. The order follows progression: Pirate Starter or Marine Starter depending on your side, Jungle, Pirate Village, Desert, Frozen Village, Marine Fortress, Lower Skylands, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village, Underwater City, Upper Skylands, Fountain City.
4. A cutscene plays, you are sent back to your side's starter island, and the last five levels drop.

The Finale grants no island star. The Secrets Master still asks for 39 of them, which is expected.

It was published on 22 September 2026 on the Fandom Island Secrets page, and nothing else has covered it yet. If the sequence does not trigger for you, start by checking that none of the other 39 secrets is missing.

The 2995 wall

Until 22 September 2026, everyone was stuck at 2995. The reason is arithmetic: the 39 island secrets grant 195 levels, and the teleporter sequence that hands over the last five had never been published anywhere.

The 10 September fix muddied the water. It announced "raised level cap from 2995 to 3000" and showed "Secret Levels Available!" to stuck players, but it granted no level at all: it opened the technical wall so The Finale could grant its own.

If you are still at 2995, there are two explanations.

The Finale is missing: your personal cap sits at 2995 and no amount of EXP will move it. The way out is the teleporter sequence.

Or you hit the 2 levels bug: your cap is then higher than your level, the levels are owed to you and will come in by earning EXP anywhere.

To find out which one applies, open the Stats menu and type 9999 into a category. The game stops at the number of points you can still place: that number plus 1 is your cap. 2995 means a secret is missing. 3000 means levels are owed to you.

Good to know

• Classic farming caps at 2800. Past that, EXP is useless: only secrets raise your level.
• The stat point cap follows your level cap: 2800 base, 2995 with the 39 island secrets, 3000 once The Finale is done.
• Awakened bosses count as island secrets: beating them grants 5 levels, on top of the Awakened Boss Gacha roll.

1. Update 30 22 septembre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • The level 3000 section was rewritten in a plainer tone, without colour markers or cause tables, and The Finale walkthrough is now given in full rather than pointed to another page.

2. Update 30 18 septembre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • Correction: the actual reachable maximum is 2995, not 3000. Field check on 18 September (every quest done, stuck at 2995): the source announces 40 secrets but documents only 39, that is 195 secret levels.
   • The 10 September fix raised the technical wall from 2995 to 3000 without granting the 5 missing levels: 3000 remains theoretical until the 40th secret is located.
   • Added the two possible causes of being stuck at 2995 (missing 40th secret or the 2 level bug) and the Stats menu test to tell them apart.

3. Update 30 14 septembre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • The source page no longer mentions the 2995 cap: 40 secrets, 200 levels, 3000 reachable, and the 40th secret is confirmed by the developers without being located.
   • Only the Unexpected Guest secret (Lower Skylands) is repeatable to recover lost levels.

   • Level cap raised from 2995 to 3000: players at level 2995 now see the "Secret Levels Available!" text.
   • Polish and quality of life improvements to some secret quests and leveling.

5. Update 30 7 septembre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • Secret quests now correctly award 5 levels; if you received fewer, your max level cap was still raised by 5 and EXP from other activities adjusts you.

6. Update 30 5 septembre 2026 Release ▾

   • Secret Levels added: 5 levels per Island Secret, 40 secrets across the First Sea, level cap raised from 2800 to 3000.
   • Same day fix: secret quests now award 5 secret levels instead of 4.

7. Update 30 22 septembre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • The 40th secret is published: "The Finale", a sequence to perform at the Middle Town teleporter once every other secret is done. It grants the last 5 levels, so the 3000 cap is reachable and the page no longer presents 2995 as the real maximum.
   • The 2995 wall of 18 September is explained: no island secret was missing, this sequence was. The information is not corroborated elsewhere yet, and the page says so.
