Echoes of the Past - the path to ancient powers
It's the most useful book for understanding progression. It describes Mirage Island, a legendary land that emerges from the mists only under the full moon's gaze, and which many believe has vanished. Those who connect with its mystical energy experience an inner awakening - the revelation of their true potential, of the strength that lay dormant within them.
Once awakened, travelers can seek the Great Tree, an ancient sentinel that rises to the sky - it's the only passage to the Temple of Time, revealed only to those who have undergone Mirage Island's transformation. By scaling its colossal branches, they discover at the summit a hidden passage to the temple, whose walls are covered with frescoes telling the history of the world's oldest races.
At the temple's heart, only those who have proven their worth in the trials can unlock the secrets of the Ancient Clock. Far more than a timepiece, it's a bridge to the past, allowing the most worthy to channel the ancient powers of their ancestors. Does this path sound familiar? It's, told as lore, the journey leading to the ancient races' powers.
The Dragon Dojo Books
The three Dragon Dojo books tell the same saga:
- The Fire that Powered Lost Souls - the flames of the Dragon Talon style are no ordinary fire but the Dragon's Ember, a mystical fire charged with ancient magic accumulated over millennia. An ancient dragon with unmatched fire mastery first transmitted it to Uzoth. These flames embody destruction and power, but also rebirth and purity - their practitioners learn to shape them into different forms, at the cost of rigorous training, immense discipline, and a pure heart.
- The Legend of the Dragon Talon Trainer - Uzoth owes his flame resistance to his Draco heritage, a race born with dragon essence in their veins and natural resilience to elemental forces like fire. But bloodline alone wasn't enough - he trained relentlessly for years before fusing the flames with his own essence. He later gathered specialized disciples from across the world, and today devotes himself to teaching those who wish to elevate their warrior spirit.
- The Temporary Home, a Dojo for Reclamation - the Dragon Dojo is perched on an isolated peak of Hydra Island, right in Draco enemy territory. Founded by Uzoth as both a sanctuary and a training ground, it's constructed from the sturdiest materials and protected by enchantments.
The Temple Lost in Time - the trials of the races
The Temple of Time book describes the temple as a link between present and past. The Timeless Stairs seem to climb infinitely but lead to the Ancient Clock, the immense clock that grants the most worthy the powers of their ancestors. Each race must face its own trial:
| Race | Trial | What It Entails |
|---|---|---|
| A vast chamber where an ancient formidable warrior awaits you - a test of raw power and willpower | ||
| A massive underwater expanse strewn with wrecks and ruins, guarded by a monstrous aquatic creature | ||
| A labyrinth with dark and winding corridors that demands speed but also clarity of mind | ||
| A perilous obstacle course in the sky, across clouds that are sometimes stable, sometimes fleeting - balance, leadership, and royal wisdom | ||
| A grim arena where waves of unleashed enemies pour in - you must embrace your inner ferocity without losing control | ||
| A metallic and hostile chamber, filled with the buzzing of ancient machinery, where survival demands agility and adaptation |
The book emphasizes - these trials bring out each race's unique strengths, but succeeding also requires unity among the different races.
