Chests: Types, Rewards, and Respawn

Chests are small chests scattered across all islands in the game. Simply touch them to collect them: they give Beli, Fragments or Bones, plus items unique to the sea where you are. There are six types, from Silver to Cursed, with rewards that increase from one sea to the next and respawn times that lengthen with rarity.

How to get it

Physically touch the chest: walk on it, jump on it, or fly into it - anything works. No unlock required, no interaction to validate.

Before you start farming: the 2x Money gamepass does not increase chest rewards, unlike Roblox Plus bonuses. However, Roblox Premium accounts do get 1.1x more money, here as everywhere else in the game.

Rewards increase with each sea: the same chest yields several times more in Third Sea than in First Sea.

Rare items hidden in chests

In Second Sea, a chest can contain a Fist of Darkness. In Third Sea, it can contain a God's Chalice.
In both cases, the item appears in a randomly chosen chest every 4 hours. It's a lottery across the entire sea, not a specific chest to camp.
The Rengoku chest, on the other hand, is fixed: it is found in the Ice Castle (Second Sea). You must first defeat the Awakened Ice Admiral to get the Hidden Key, then go to the side of the stairs where it appears to open it.

Farming chests efficiently

A chest respawns even if a player is standing directly on its location. You then collect it automatically by staying in place: it's a perfectly decent money method, even if there are better ones.
Mirage and Fragment chests do not respawn. It's unique loot: grab them as soon as you pass by.
The quest to get Rabbit V3 requires collecting 30 chests.

Common bugs and confusion

There is a bug where a collected chest respawns a few seconds later. You gain nothing by collecting it again, and it doesn't affect other chests on the server.
Don't confuse these chests with Sunken Chests, which are collected through fishing and follow different rules.
The 2x Money gamepass doesn't affect chests, with one exception: Cursed Chests, because they spawn enemies, and the money from those enemies is indeed doubled.
