Blue Gear is a luminous blue gear essential for unlocking
Race Awakening. It appears at night on
Mirage Island - you literally have to run over it to pick it up. Good news: once obtained, it's yours forever, even if you change races.
How to get it
Requirements: access to
Third Sea,
Sealed King Quest completed,
rip_indra True Form defeated, 1
Mirror Fractal, and Race V3. Resonate your Mirror Fractal with the moon (any phase works now, no longer need full moon), then search for Blue Gear on Mirage Island at night and walk over it. The message "You found a weird artifact..." confirms obtaining it.
Appearance
A light blue gear that shines at night. Since Update 20, it keeps its glow even in fast mode (it just emits a bit less light).
Where to Find It
- Blue Gear spawns in the same location for everyone: in a team, as soon as someone finds it, they can call the others to the spot and everyone can pick it up.
- Effective tip: fly over Mirage Island with slow to medium flight (Awakened
Magma or
Love) while staying outside the island, where there's no fog. - Equip
Pale Scarf: with
Instinct, you can easily spot Blue Gear if someone finds it.
Tips
- Don't forget to resonate your Mirror Fractal with the moon, otherwise Blue Gear won't spawn.
- Disable your PvP before going: if you die, you won't respawn on Mirage Island.
- If the player who spawned Mirage Island leaves the server, the island despawns, even if people are still on it.
- If your Mirror Fractal resonates just before morning, you can't resonate it again the next night as long as you stay on the same server.
- Once Blue Gear is obtained, your Mirror Fractal no longer resonates with the moon: you can no longer see it if you already have it.
- The item is kept after a race change: no need to refarm it for each race.
