Bounty (
Pirates) and Honor (
Marines) form
Blox Fruits' PvP ranking system. Every 500,000 increment grants damage and defense bonuses against players, and major thresholds unlock titles,
Marine ranks, and
Sea Beast summoning at 10 million. Here are the tiers, caps, and pitfalls of the system.
How to get it
Kill enemies (up to 250,000), then bosses (up to 2.5 M), then players at your level in PvP, the only way to surpass 2.5 M. The NPC Bounty/Honor Expert shows you your current boost.
How It Works
- Pirates use Bounty to reflect their worth, Marines use Honor to measure the respect they inspire. Everyone starts at zero and progresses individually.
- Bounty and Honor are completely SEPARATE: your Marine save follows your Honor independently of your
Pirate save's Bounty. - The maximum is capped at 30 million. If some leaderboard players exceed this cap, it's because admins can set their Bounty/Honor beyond it with the exclusive "/b (amount)" command.
- It's a rivalry mechanic: the higher you climb, the more you become a target, and the more you risk losing upon death.
Gaining Bounty/Honor
| Source | Gain | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| variable | capped at 250,000: beyond that, they give nothing | |
| 25 times the boss's level | no more gain once past 2,500,000 | |
| PvP (players of similar level) | see below | only way to exceed 2.5 M |
| Defeating an admin | 50,000 | - |
PvP gains in detail:
- With 2.49 M or less, killing another player (pirate or marine) yields between 9,100 and 18,200, depending on your own total.
- Killing a player below 2.49 M gives 3.5 times their level (10,500 for a level 3,000 player); killing a player at exactly 2.5 M gives 4.5 times their level (13,500 for a level 3,000 player). The higher the target's Bounty, the higher this multiplier climbs, up to 7 times their level when they have 10 M.
- The maximum gain on a kill is 21,000 (7 times level 3,000).
- Starting from 5 M, you only gain in 1 M increments.
- Level filter: at max level (3,000), you only gain Bounty from opponents within 25% of your level, so level 2,250 minimum. The range is widest at level 2,250, where you can gain from players between levels 1,688 and 3,000.
Losing Bounty/Honor
- Dying to an NPC costs theoretically their level in Bounty/Honor (an NPC level 1,400 should make you lose 1,400), but a likely bug makes you lose about 5 times more.
- Below 2.5 M, you lose NOTHING dying in PvP; the victor still gets their share.
- Between 2.5 M and 3.99 M, you lose as much as the victor gains. At 4 M and above, you lose DOUBLE what they gain. The maximum loss is 42,000 (double the maximum gain).
- Starting from 5 M, losses from PvP death or combat log are even steeper.
Combat log: in combat, a message appears at the bottom of your screen; starting from 2.5 M, the red warning "Bounty/Honor at risk!" is added. If your opponent leaves, disconnects, or gets kicked during combat, you see "(username) left the game and has been penalized!"; if YOU leave mid-combat, you find at your next login the message "You combat logged the last time you played, and your Bounty/Honor has been penalized." There is, however, a second type of combat tag, with no penalty if you server hop: the one where you attacked a player without being attacked back.
- The 3/3 rule: two players can only gain or lose Bounty/Honor from each other 3 times per 72-hour period. Example: you kill someone twice, they kill you once, you'll need to wait 3 days for your kills to count again. It's the anti-farm against friends and alt accounts.
PvP Buffs and
Summon Sea Beast
- Every 500,000 Bounty/Honor, you receive a buff to damage and defense valid ONLY against players (not
NPCs), increasingly powerful at each tier. - To balance combat length, these buffs give more defense than damage.
- Starting from 5 M, the pace changes: one buff every 1 M (after 5 M, the next drops at 6 M, not 5.5 M).
- The last buff is awarded at 20 M: between 20 M and 30 M, no additional PvP boost.
- The NPC Bounty/Honor Expert shows you your current boost.
- At 10 M, you receive the item Summon Sea Beast, which lets you summon a Sea Beast at will, confirmed by the message "You've awakened a hidden ability." at the top of your screen. It is PERMANENT (you keep it even losing Bounty/Honor), gives neither drops nor boss credits, but helps charge the
Race Awakening bar (V4).
Unlockable Titles
| Tier | Title(s) |
|---|---|
| 5 M Bounty/Honor | "Pirate Hunter" and "Bounty Hunter", both white |
| 10 M Bounty | "Warlord of the Sea" (#024), dark red |
| 20 M Bounty | "Emperor of the Sea" (#025) and "Empress of the Sea" (#026) |
| 10 M Honor | " |
| 20 M Honor | "Fleet Admiral" (#028) |
Good news: titles remain unlocked even if you lose Bounty/Honor afterward.
Marine Ranks
As a Marine, a rank displays above your name, entirely determined by your Honor:
| Honor | Rank |
|---|---|
| 1 | Seaman Recruit |
| 1,000 | Seaman Apprentice |
| 5,000 | Seaman First Class |
| 15,000 | Petty Officer |
| 30,000 | |
| 50,000 | Master Chief Petty Officer |
| 100,000 | Ensign |
| 200,000 | Lieutenant Junior Grade |
| 500,000 | Lieutenant |
| 1 M | Lieutenant Commander |
| 2 M | Commander |
| 3 M | Captain |
| 4 M | Commodore |
| 5 M | Rear Admiral |
| 7.5 M | |
| 10 M | Admiral |
| 15 M | Fleet Admiral |
| 20 M | Legendary Fleet Admiral |
Did You Know?
- Arrival announcements: between 5 M and 14.99 M, a red message appears in chat each time you log in: "BEWARE! (username) has joined the server!". Between 15 M and 30 M, it becomes "A GOD HAS ARRIVED! (username) has joined the server!".
- Suspicious kills: to counter exploiters who kill automatically, a kill composed almost entirely of M1 or melee attacks yields NOTHING. The system sometimes triggers false positives:
Buddha users, who play mostly M1, are the first victims, and
Kitsune,
Tiger, or
T-Rex pass through sometimes too. Since a recent update, dying to a suspicious kill also disables your PvP status. - Leaderboard entries above 30 M come from the admin command "/b (amount)": impossible to reach legitimately.
Update history
Mechanic : Bounty and Honor System
-
Update 30 17 octobre 2026 Adjustment
- Max level 3,000: on 17 October 2026 the source page raised the level filter threshold from 2,100 to 2,250 (25% below the max level, up from 2,800 to 3,000 with Update 30). The page recomputes everything that depends on the max level with the page's own formulas: gain examples at 10,500 and 13,500 for a level 3,000 target, maximum gain 21,000 (7 times the level), maximum loss 42,000, widest range at level 2,250 (from 1,688 to 3,000). The source page still uses examples at level 2,995, the former technical wall, hence the gap with its 10,483 and 13,478 figures.
