Removed from the game in Update 30: the Swan no longer exists since the
First Sea overhaul of September 5, 2026, and his
Pink Coat is now obtained through the
Prison's Mysterious Key secret. What follows describes the game before that update. The Swan was a level 240 boss locked in the rectangular building of the Prison: black and red shirt, crimson sunglasses, Pink Coat on his back. He used the old abilities of the
Spider fruit, but the real danger came from his M1s, which hit very hard. He was the weaker version of the
Second Sea's
Don Swan, who is still in the game.
How to get it
He stood at the Prison (First Sea), in the rectangular building: level 240, 11,700 HP, no
Aura, fruit fighter, respawn every 30 minutes.
Since Update 30 (September 5, 2026), he no longer appears: he was removed at the same time as the
Chief Warden, and the
Warden remains the Prison's only permanent boss. His Pink Coat went to the
Megalo Guard (Lv. 250), an island secret boss that only appears during the theft of Don Megalo's coat; since 16 September 2026 the source presents him as Swan's replacement.
The Pink Coat today: it is the reward of the Prison's Mysterious Key secret. Pick up the key lying on the balcony above and behind the Warden, go up to the top floor of the center building, unlock the gate with the key, climb again and steal the coat sitting on the chair by defeating the hostile NPC that appears. The full walkthrough is on the
Island Secrets page.
What he dropped
- Beli and EXP, in amounts the source never documented (listed as TBA)
- 6,000
Bounty/Honor - Possible drop: the Pink Coat, the jacket he wore on his back. Since Update 30, the coat comes from the Prison's Mysterious Key secret.
The associated quest
The
Head Jailer gave the Swan quest from level 240. At stake: 15,000 Beli and 1,600,000 EXP. This quest disappeared with him.
His attacks
The Swan used the old abilities of the Spider fruit.
| Attack | What it did | How to avoid it |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-String Attack | He impaled you to the ground with strings. He tended to spam this move when you kept your distance. | Chain dashes left and right, or use |
| Multidirectional Silk | He released a small cage of strings that slashed and stunned any nearby player. | Keep your distance: up close, it stunned and hurt a lot. |
How he used to be beaten
- His Spider moves weren't the problem: it was his [M1]s that dealt huge damage. You had to keep your distance.
- Hit him then dash immediately behind a wall, and then chain ranged attacks: you didn't waste energy dodging. AoE moves worked very well too.
- Hit-and-run worked: dash into him, land a hit, get out before he reacted. Done right, you hit him continuously without ever getting hit.
- High-stun fruits like
Light or Ice were ideal.
Smoke too, for its decent damage and short cooldowns. - Never run out of energy, or no more dodging. With a very long-range fruit like
Magma, you could simply stand on the Prison wall.
Good to know
- His second move was a Spider move unique to him: the community named it Multidirectional Silk.
- Known bug at the time: if you killed him right before he cast Multidirectional Silk, the move still triggered and could hurt players caught in the cage.
- History: added in Update 1, his level went from 225 to 240 in Update 17.2, and he was removed from the First Sea in Update 30 (September 5, 2026).
- Don Swan, his stronger Second Sea version, is still in the game.
Our take
A Prison boss to hit from afar - his M1s severely punish anyone who gets too close.
