Ranked PvP (2v2) was a competitive team mode for two players, set in the
Party Realm and exclusive to the 50B
Celebration Event. Four players faced off in a closed arena for 2 minutes, with a rank system that went up or down based on wins and losses. It arrived on September 27, 2025 with Update 27.5, and is no longer playable since the event ended.
How to get it
Only accessible during the 50B Celebration Event, in the Party Realm: two matchmaking panels allowed you to form teams and start a match. The event is over, the mode is no longer available.
How It Works
- Four players, two teams of two. Outside players couldn't interfere with the match, even with moves like the X of the
Skull Guitar, and participants couldn't touch outside players either. - The health percentages of the four players displayed in two blocks on the sides of the screen: green for your team, red for the opposing team.
- Everyone received i-frames a few seconds after the timer started.
- The match lasted exactly 2 minutes. If both teams were still standing at the end, overtime started, with percentage damage dealt to all survivors: the team in better condition won.
- Leaving the arena, or exceeding your vertical limit, also dealt percentage damage, unless you were stunned or inflicting stun. In other words, fleeing was impossible.
- Eliminated players became spectators, viewing through their teammate's perspective.
Winning and Losing BP
- The winning team earned BP, which made them rank up or rank up faster. The higher the rank of the opponents beaten, the greater the reward.
- The losing team lost BP, but only from Platinum 1 onwards: Gold and below never lost a single BP. The lower the rank of those who beat you, the heavier the loss.
- Leaving the match after your death canceled everything: no loss in case of defeat, but no gain in case of victory either.
The Ranks
Six ranks, with five divisions each (1 to 5), except the last one:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
Diamond- Master (no divisions, it progresses directly in BP)
The Match End Screen
Once the match ended, an interface precisely summarized the damage dealt and damage taken by each of the four players. An arrow allowed you to expand the details by source: fruit, sword, gun, and melee.
Tips
Fruits with large AOE and stun, like
Lightning, were formidable in this mode.- Focus two against one opponent before moving to the next. Large hitboxes like
Buddha should be handled first: easier to hit, and very annoying if you leave them alive. A fruit like
Pain cuts through them easily. - Ignore airborne opponents and combo together those who stay on the ground.
- If both enemies focus on your teammate, stun them by surprise and coordinate with him.
Good to Know
- There were two matchmaking panels, each linked to its own island. The one closest to the stadium stands sent to the larger of the two arenas.
- An Angel race icon is visible on the 2v2 panel.
- The mode was added on September 27, 2025 with Update 27.5.
