Hydra Leader, formerly 
Island Empress, is a level 1675 boss entrenched in a temple on 
Hydra Island in 
Third Sea. She has 130,000 HP, attacks with the 
Venom fruit, and most importantly: all her abilities can break your 
Instinct, rendering automatic dodge useless and close combat very risky. She is also one of the only bosses in the game to drop a ranged weapon, the 
Venom Bow.
How to get it
Go to the temple on Hydra Island in Third Sea. She is alone there and respawns every 30 minutes. Plan to be around level 1675.

Her Attacks
She uses Venom fruit abilities, and both of them can break your Instinct.

| Poison Daggers | A barrage of poisoned projectiles at close range. They explode at the end of their trajectory and leave venom particles along the entire path, dealing moderate damage. How to Beat Her
- Don't rely on Instinct: both her attacks can break it, automatic dodge won't save you.
- The fight is played at range. Watch for when she charges and dash to the side, avoiding already poisoned areas.
- With 130,000 HP, this isn't a boss that falls in three hits: prepare resources and space to retreat.
- She respawns every 30 minutes, which gives you time to prepare another attempt.
Good to Know
- She was called Island Empress until Update 24: she is the first boss in the game to have been replaced in both appearance and abilities. She used the
Love fruit at that time, exchanged for Venom. - Along with
Orbitus, she is one of the rare bosses to use a 
Mythical fruit. - Along with Magma Admiral and Sky Warlord, she is one of the only bosses to drop a ranged weapon, aside from
Core. - Her outfit: black and purple, purple belt, black mask covering almost her entire face, and black conical hat. The same outfit as the
Venomous Assailants, whom she commands. - The original Island Empress was introduced with Update 15.
Our take
A decent boss for Beli, about 10,000 per kill, but her real value is the Venom Bow. Her venom that breaks Instinct makes her more annoying than profitable if you're just farming money.
