The Master of Auras was the shop NPC who sold
Aura Colors for
Fragments. He appeared randomly on a handful of islands in the
Second Sea and
Third Sea, stayed for only a few minutes, and refused to serve you unless your
Aura was at stage 5. He was replaced by the
Barista Cousin in Update 24: this page therefore describes content that no longer exists in the game, but it remains useful for understanding where Aura Colors and their associated titles come from.
How to get it
You had to encounter him by chance. He appeared at a random location in the Second Sea or Third Sea, took 5 minutes to appear (25 minutes for the first spawn on a private server), then left. The Fandom contradicts itself on his lifespan: the spawn section mentions 25 minutes before he disappears, while the Trivia section states 20 minutes. The Second Sea was recommended for searching for him, with fewer locations to check.
What he sold
He offered Aura Colors, available in two rarities. The same colors could be purchased with Robux from the
Colors Specialist, with no Aura requirement.
| From the Master of Auras | From the Colors Specialist | |
|---|---|---|
| Regular | 1,500 Fragments | 88 Robux |
| LEGENDARY | 7,500 Fragments | 350 Robux |
To buy from him, you needed an Aura at stage 5. Otherwise he would respond "Sorry, your Aura ability is not strong enough yet." If the condition was met, he would say "Interested in buying this Aura Color?", then announce the color name and its price.

Searching for him in the Second Sea (recommended method)
Set your home point at Green Zone, then:
- Check Green Zone, then go to Forgotten Island; if he's not there, teleport to your home point
- Go to Hot and Cold, then to Cursed Ship; if he's not there, teleport to your home point
- Go to Snow Mountain, then to Ice Castle; if he's still not there, change servers
Searching for him with the
Portal fruit
Recommended method if you have Portal with over 200
Mastery, thus access to [C] World Warp.
Setup:
- Go to Cursed Ship (Haunted Ship in the [C] menu) and set your home point there
- Go to Green Zone (Docks 3) or Hot and Cold (
Lava and Docks 4) and check if he's there
Method 1:
- From Green Zone or Hot and Cold, change servers
- Once loaded into the new server, go check the location without using World Warp
- If he's not there, teleport to your home point (Cursed Ship) still without World Warp
- Check if he's on Cursed Ship, then, whether he is or not, World Warp to the other starting point (if you started at Hot and Cold, go to Green Zone, and vice versa)
- Change servers and repeat
Method 2:
- Set your spawn on one of the islands where he appears, Hot and Cold for example
- Chain server changes until he appears
Searching for him in the Third Sea
The Fandom itself specifies that the Second Sea method is simpler and remains the recommendation. This one requires that you have unlocked the Third Sea
Portals. Set your home point at Castle on the Sea, then:
- Check Castle on the Sea, then Hydra Island; if he's not there, teleport to your home point and take the portals to Floating Turtle
- Check the two locations near the Musketeer Pirates
- Check the location near the Beautiful Pirate's gate
You can mix these steps however you like, and replace portals and home points with the [C] World Warp from Portal.
Things to know
- Aura Colors are purely cosmetic: they provide no bonuses
- Multiple players could buy a color from him in succession; he would not disappear after a sale, unlike the
Legendary Sword Dealer who leaves after selling a sword - The title The Enhancer could only be obtained by buying a color from him
- The title The Collector could be obtained by buying a color from him or by buying a sword from the Legendary Sword Dealer
- Buying all his colors unlocked the title Hakaishin, number 147
- If he disappeared while you were talking to him, the dialog box would display "[Gone.]"
- An old glitch would make him appear near the great wall of
Kingdom of Rose - His rare spawns, 5-minute delay, and long list of locations made him one of the most annoying
NPCs to find in the game
