Hell's Messenger: Defeat Him (Fear the Reaper)

Hell's Messenger is a level 2200 boss from Hell Dimension in the Third Sea. This crimson-armored demon wields the awakened version of the Dark fruit and uses Aura, but its three attacks are easy to read - it's clearly the most manageable of the two dimension guardians, far simpler than the Heaven's Guardian.

How to get it

It only appears during the Fear the Reaper scroll quest given by Yama - light the third torch in Hell Dimension to trigger the battle. Level 2200, with 100,000 HP announced (figure marked as unconfirmed on the source).

Appearance

It wears a crimson suit, reddish shoulder armor on each shoulder, and a helmet with two black horns. Its face is the "Devil Nas X - Lil Nas X (LNX)" from the Roblox catalog.

Its Three Attacks

It draws from three abilities of the awakened Dark fruit.

Attack	What it does	How to avoid it
Dimensional Slash	It summons a dark sword and launches a small vertical slash at its target. The attack applies slight blindness, teleports it near you, and deals damage.	Dash around it and keep your distance.
Endless Hole	It creates a large black hole that stuns targets and deals rapid damage.	Stay in the air.
World of Darkness	It shapes a dark, voracious sphere and sends it at you - it pulls targets toward it then launches them away while dealing damage.	As soon as it prepares the attack, get as far away as possible.

How to Beat It

The real risk isn't its difficulty - it's dying: if you fall, you have to redo the entire Fear the Reaper quest, which relies heavily on luck and can be very tedious to restart.

Use Buddha or Magma - the two fruits recommended to secure the fight.
Avoid weapons with high knockback - enemies can fall off the map, making the rest impossible.
Stay mobile - its three attacks telegraph well, just dash for Dimensional Slash, stay in the air for Endless Hole, and run as soon as it charges World of Darkness.

Good to Know

The fight is part of Yama's Fear the Reaper scroll, a step in the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle - you must complete it to obtain the Cursed Dual Katana.
The source recommends saving this step for last due to the difficulty of the Haze of Misery Trial.
The 100,000 HP listed are marked as unconfirmed on the Fandom page - take the number with a grain of salt.
Fun coincidence - admin Uzoth uses exactly the same face as this boss.
It can only be killed once, like the Ice Admiral, Rip Indra, Heaven's Guardian and the Cursed Skeleton Boss: once it is down, it never comes back. Only the Cursed Skeletons escape that rule, since they respawn endlessly once someone on the server has completed the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle, and anyone can hit and kill them.
