The Core is not a boss like the others: it is the heart of the
Factory, in the
Second Sea, and you must destroy it during the Factory Raid. With its 200,000 HP, it offers the best reward in the area: the player who deals the most damage to it leaves with a random
Blox Fruit. It's one of the best ways to farm fruits in the Second Sea.
How to get it
The Core appears every 1 h 30 in the Factory (Second Sea). When the Factory Raid starts, you have 5 minutes to destroy it. After that deadline, the door closes and poison spreads, killing all players still inside.
What it drops
Guaranteed rewards:
- 65,000 to 85,000 Beli
- 600,000 to 750,000 EXP
- A random Blox Fruit for the player who dealt the most damage to the Core
Possible drops:
How to maximize your damage
Ranking is based on total damage, so consistency trumps raw power.
- Spam M1 or swords rather than your abilities: consistent damage yields much more than a few big moves.
- One of the best methods:
Ghost's [V] move then spam M1, the ghosts hit the Core at the same time as you. Awakened
Love's [F] is an alternative. - An area fruit with long range like Awakened
Magma or
Venom deals big damage per tick, both on the Factory and on non-allied players. - Using Creation's [V] move near the Core spawns pillars in the Factory, which lets you deal damage earlier.
Buddha is highly recommended for this raid: damage reduction and enlarged hitbox let you chain M1s without worry.- A private server limits competition: it's the surest way to finish first in damage.
Traps to avoid
Bounty and Honor hunters roam during the raid. The best strategy is to stay on the small platform next to the Core and deal damage from a distance, for example with Awakened Magma's [Z], [C] and [V] moves.- Ally with everyone before starting, or get killed by someone beforehand to benefit from the disabled PvP shield. Previously,
Marines allied automatically with each other without being able to ally with
Pirates; this is no longer the case - Marines and Pirates can now ally together. If there are many non-allied players around the Core, it's better to skip your turn. - Some moves, like the projectiles from
Tiger's [Z], don't hit the exposed Core until the flaming laser has been fired. - Avoid Awakened
Dough's [C]: it can move the Core's hitbox and force you to track it with
Instinct. - Non-Awakened Dough's [X] works on the Core, but the lasso becomes so huge it causes lag for players with poor connections.
- Ice moves ([X], [C] and [V]) can sometimes freeze the entire Core.
Our take
Essential for getting free Blox Fruits in the Second Sea: finish first in damage and you leave with a random fruit, plus a nice bundle of Beli.
