Nerd Blox Fruits: accessory buffs

The Nerd is the NPC who reads you the bonuses of the accessory you're wearing. He greets you with a memorable PFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTT..., then details the exact buffs of your equipment. He also allows you to view the Player Profile. Since Update 29, the game displays this information on its own: the Nerd therefore no longer has much utility.

How to get it

You find him at the Cafe in the Second Sea, and at the Mansion in the Third Sea. The NPC has existed since Update 7, and access to the Player Profile was added to him at Update 27.5.

What he does

He starts with his PFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTT..., then you scroll through the dialogue.
He then announces the bonuses of the accessory you have equipped. Example given by the Fandom: I see... that accessory grants you 12.5% more damage on Melee/Sword Attacks and 5% cooldown reduction on Melee/Sword Attacks.
When he tells you 'I guess I could spare some of my time and intellect to help you out... What do you want me to analyze?', you can choose the Profiles option to view the Player Profile.
Without any accessory equipped, he just says 'Are you lurking?'

Is he still useful?

Not really. Since Update 29, the bonuses of Accessories are visible directly in the game, and the Player Profile no longer goes through him. The Nerd therefore joins the short list of NPCs that have become useless due to the game's evolution, alongside Guashiem.
