The Customer is the client leaning at the counter of the
Café, in
Second Sea, right next to the
Manager. He sells nothing and gives no quests: he chats, and his lines change regularly. Behind the humor, each one is a hint about a sea secret, from the
Fist of Darkness to
Don Swan's glasses. If you've just arrived in Second Sea, he's the most rewarding NPC to talk to multiple times in a row.
How to get it
At the Café, in Second Sea: he stands at the counter, right next to the Manager. Talk to him multiple times in a row, and he changes his line. He's been in the game since Update 8.

| Have you heard about awakening your hidden abilities? I haven't either, but an alchemist set up on the other side of the bridge claims he can help me. I told him no thanks, all I need is help getting out of bed. | Refers to the |
| The tall guy upstairs has some killer glasses. No, not that tall guy! I'm talking about the guy in pink who runs the city. His glasses are collectible - try to grab them next time you run into him. | The tall guy he's brushing off is |

Why talk to him
His only role is informative: he has no shop, no quest, no combat. Since his lines rotate, you need to talk to him multiple times to hear them all. For a player discovering Second Sea, he's a shortcut to several secrets you'd otherwise only find by searching at random or reading a guide.
