Awakenings Expert

How to get it

At the Café in Second Sea, and at the Mansion in Third Sea. You need to have an awakened fruit equipped to talk to him.

What he does exactly

• He downgrades your fruit's awakened moves back to their base version.
• He only works if you've already awakened at least one move through a raid (for example, Flame's [Z] move).
• You need to have the awakened fruit equipped when you talk to him.
• You choose move by move: he doesn't deactivate everything at once, you keep the ones you want to keep.

Permanent awakenings, the real good news

This is the most important point on his page, and it's often misunderstood.

If you use the Awakenings Expert to downgrade an awakened move, you won't need to redo the raid or pay Fragments again to get it back. You just need to come back and talk to him and reselect the move: it becomes awakened again immediately.

The only condition is that the move must have been awakened at least once before. In other words, an awakening once obtained is yours for life: you can switch between versions as many times as you want, for free.

Awakeable fruits

Eleven fruits can be awakened in raids, and therefore can be downgraded to their base version with him:

Flame, Ice, Sand, Dark, Light
Magma, Quake, Buddha, Spider
Phoenix, Dough

Good to know

• He used to be located inside Wenlocktoad's secret room. Update 14 closed that room, and the NPC has stood just outside the entrance ever since.

• He has a connection with Wenlocktoad, who calls him Tommy.
• His greeting phrase: "Greetings, is your fruit awakened?"
