That third point is what makes the accessory valuable: on paper it is plain comfort, in practice it is a radar.

Why bounty hunters love it

• The x10 Instinct range is directly useful for bounty hunting: you locate a given target without searching blind.
• Same interest for the Player Hunter quests: finding players becomes far less painful.
• The two extra dodges also let you farm Instinct faster, since it levels up by dodging.
• It pairs very well with Human V4, which already raises the number of Instinct dodges a lot.

Bugs and oddities

• If you equip the Pale Scarf, turn your Instinct on, then take the scarf off (or equip another accessory), the wider range stays active. It only goes away once you turn Instinct off and back on.
• Another bug keeps the extra dodges if you die with the Pale Scarf equipped and Instinct on: they stay even after an accessory change, and you have to rejoin a game to reset the counter.
