Mirror Fractal

How to get it

Guaranteed drop from defeating Dough King (Third Sea). It's the only source - no chests, no trades, no other boss drops it.

What it does

Its role in Race Awakening

Mirror Fractal is part of the Race Awakening puzzle. You use it to resonate with the moon (the Nychthemeron) from the highest point of Mirage Island, which leads you to Blue Gear.

The activation only works if Sealed King has spoken his line: "Powers involving time always work best under the light of a full moon." Until he says it, there's no point trying.

• Good news: you don't lose the Mirror Fractal when resonating with the moon - it stays in your inventory.
• Switch to shift-lock or first-person view to aim at the moon. In third-person view, the race ability activation isn't always registered and you can spend a long time trying to figure out why it's not working.

The two crafts

Item	Full Recipe
Leviathan Shield	1 Mirror Fractal, 30 Leviathan Scale, 10 Electric Wing, 20 Fool's Gold
Treasure Rod	1 Mirror Fractal, 10 Leviathan Scale, 10 Fool's Gold, 3,000 Fragments

In other words, 2 Mirror Fractals are enough to craft absolutely everything that requires them. Beyond that, accumulating more is pointless, except for player-to-player trading.
