Scrap Metal - Blox Fruits | Blox Fruits Wiki

Scrap Metal is a Common material dropped by a good dozen enemies across all three seas. The source presents it as the most common and most used material in the game: it goes into crafting the Volcanic Magnet and the Gold Rod, and it's the only material required by Control fruit upgrades. It arrived with update 17.3 and its infobox shows a maximum of 99.

How to get it

It drops from many enemies in First Sea, Second Sea, and Third Sea. The list provided by the source:

To accumulate it quickly, the source recommends farming Pirate Village in First Sea with an area-of-effect fruit: Pirates are packed there, and you can clear multiple enemies with each attack.

What it does

Crafting Items

Upgrading Weapons

What it's used to craft

Item	Category	Full Recipe
Volcanic Magnet	Material	15 Blaze Ember + 10 Scrap Metal
Gold Rod	Fishing Rod	500,000 Beli + 4 Wooden Plank + 3 Scrap Metal

These are the only two crafting recipes that require Scrap Metal: one material and one fishing rod.

Upgrading Control fruit

Control is the only fruit in the game whose upgrades cost Scrap Metal. The source lists two lines without specifying which comes first:

500 Fragments + 30 Scrap Metal + 100 Simulation Data
2,000 Fragments + 20 Scrap Metal + 200 Simulation Data

Together, they represent 50 Scrap Metal, the largest expenditure you'll make with this material.

How much you need

The source announces a total of 465 Scrap Metal to purchase everything that requires this material, excluding Volcanic Magnet since it can be crafted multiple times.

Warning: this number doesn't match the rest of the page - the listed recipes only add up to 63 Scrap Metal total (53 without Volcanic Magnet). The source contradicts itself on this point, take the 465 with a grain of salt and rely instead on the detailed recipes above.

Good to know

It's the most common and most used material in the game according to the source, precisely because the quantities demanded are high.
Added with update 17.3.
Maximum indicated by the infobox: 99.
