The Trident is a 
Rare sword from the 
First Sea with aquatic powers, dropped by the 
Fishman Lord. Its [Z] acts as a grappling hook: it pulls enemies toward you or propels you onto terrain, making it a good mobility and combo tool for the end of First Sea and the beginning of 
Second Sea. It eventually gets outclassed by most Second Sea swords.
How to get it
Dropped by the Fishman Lord at 
Underwater City (First Sea) with approximately 10% chance per kill.

Strengths and weaknesses
- The [Z] pulls the enemy toward you: a solid alternative to the Spikey Trident, shorter cooldown
- Good ground mobility thanks to the terrain grappling hook
- Attack speed above the average of First Sea swords
- The [X] sucks in enemies, explodes in AoE, and breaks Instinct
- Low Mastery requirements (50 and 125): perfect for beginners
- The [Z] is single-target, hard to aim, doesn't break Instinct and its projectile is slower than the Spikey Trident's [X]
- The [X] has a long startup time and locks you in place
- Dash on the 4th M1: less convenient with autoclicker for farming
- Quickly outclassed by more powerful swords like the
True Triple Katana - Cannot hit

A very good transition companion between First and Second Sea: good mobility, pull, and damage for its level. Its [Z] keeps some utility even later on, but once you reach Second Sea, generally better swords replace it for all activities.
