Blaze Ember - Blox Fruits Material

Blaze Ember is an Uncommon material that arrived in Update 24, obtainable on Hydra Island through Dragon Hunter quests. It's the core resource for everything related to the dragon: upgrading Dragon Talon, crafting Dragonheart, Dragonstorm and Volcanic Magnet, or attempting the Dragon skin gacha. Each quest gives only 3, so plan for multiple trips.

How to get it

Complete a Dragon Hunter quest on Hydra Island (Third Sea): each quest spawns the same number of embers, which is 3. Three quests are available: destroy 10 Trees, defeat 3 Venomous Assailants, or defeat 3 Hydra Enforcers. To collect a Blaze Ember, simply walk over it or touch it, just like Azure Embers. They also sometimes drop at the end of a Dungeon.

There is no limit to the number of Blaze Ember quests you can take per day, but you can only have one active at a time.

Upgrading: Only one fighting style consumes Blaze Embers - Dragon Talon - for a total of 22 embers split across three tiers of 5, 7, and then 10.

Collection tips

Flash Step allows you to catch them.
The recommended fruits are Dragon and Eagle, for their flight. More generally, any fruit with good flight capability works, Light for example.
When you destroy Trees, each one has a chance to spawn a Blaze Ember: you can recover all three embers before even finishing the quest.
The dojo bamboos count toward the Trees quest, as do the small trees on the stone platform at the center of Hydra Town.
They are easier to collect than Azure Embers: the flames move more slowly and will eventually stop if you wait long enough.
If an ember gets stuck in a wall, move away a bit, but not too far: it will come back to you on its own.
Blaze Embers disappear after a certain time, don't delay.

Things to know

Blaze Ember is almost identical to Azure Ember, in both how it works and how it's collected.
The Fandom states that 92 Blaze Embers are needed to upgrade and craft everything that requires them (excluding Volcanic Magnet and gacha, which are infinitely repeatable). When adding up the recipes listed on the same page, it comes to more like 67 (22 for Dragon Talon, 15 for Dragonheart, 30 for Dragonstorm): the stated total and the details don't match up.
