The Refined Slingshot is the upgraded version of the 
Slingshot, with a unique gimmick: its [Z] Ink Swarm sticks octopuses on the enemy that drain their life to heal you. While not a great weapon, it excels at grouping mobs while farming and leveling Aura Mastery.
How to get it
Bought for 30,000 Beli from the 
Advanced Weapon Dealer at 
Marine Fortress in 
First Sea.

Maximizing [Z] healing
To take advantage of the life drain, keep the enemy in the center of the move (in the big octopus): most of the six small octopuses will attach to them as soon as they appear, and the earlier they attach, the more they heal. Well executed, it can restore around 50% of your max HP.

Our take
A nice farming tool: the octopuses group enemies together, prevent them from scattering, and heal you. In PvP, however, everything is dodged with Instinct and the damage doesn't keep up.
