How to get it

30% chance to drop when you destroy an object with Destructible Physics: crates, walls, trees, basically anything that breaks in the environment. The rate increases up to 90% by leveling the Plank Scavenger skill of the Shipwright subclass, which also increases the amount recovered. Since Update 27.5, you no longer need to be a Shipwright to collect it: the subclass only improves the yield.

Where and how to farm it

• The two best spots are the center of Hydra Island and the Castle on the Sea: there are so many trees that you can fill your stack in less than a minute.
• To clear everything at once, the F of awakened Dough does the job very well, just like the TAP and X of the Skull Guitar.
• Any destructible object counts, not just trees: crates, walls, environmental furniture.

• The material arrived with Update 23.
• Maximum stack: 99. Beyond that, you won't pick up anything more, remember to empty before a crafting session.
• Plan ahead: the three rods combined require 21 Wooden Planks.
