Submerged Island

How to get it

You must first defeat the raid boss Tyrant of the Skies. Then, talk to the Submarine Worker, stationed at Sub Port 01 near the second dock of the Tiki Outpost: he's the one who takes you diving. Do not follow the Recommended Quest compass: it points to the island's own spot, underwater, and not to the Submarine Worker (a bug the source says has never been fixed).

What the island looks like

The entrance is under a large grayish arch that looks abandoned, in the same colonial style as other buildings in the game. Corals of all colors cover the entire area.

• In the center: a giant coral flower, buildings fused with coral, and immense clams.
• To the left: a small area of abandoned docks, littered with barrels and crates, and a large mountain covered in coral. A small cave at its base connects the suspended docks to the outer docks.
• All around: several broken arch structures scattered throughout the sea.

Inhabitants

Enemies	NPCs
Reef Bandit	Submarine Worker
Coral Pirate	Sharkman Master
Sea Chanter	Tournament Master
Ocean Prophet
High Disciple
Grand Devotee

The six quests

Quest Giver	Objective	Required Level	Rewards
Submerged Quest Giver 1	Defeat 8 Reef Bandits	2600	15,450 Beli and 145,000,000 EXP
Submerged Quest Giver 1	Defeat 8 Coral Pirates	2625	15,500 Beli and 147,000,000 EXP
Submerged Quest Giver 2	Defeat 8 Sea Chanters	2650	15,550 Beli and 150,000,000 EXP
Submerged Quest Giver 2	Defeat 8 Ocean Prophets	2675	15,600 Beli and 152,000,000 EXP
Submerged Quest Giver 3	Defeat 8 High Disciples	2700	15,650 Beli and 154,000,000 EXP
Submerged Quest Giver 3	Defeat 8 Grand Devotees	2725	15,700 Beli and 156,000,000 EXP

The required level matches the enemies' level, in steps of 25. It used not to: the High Disciples quest could be taken from 2675, like the Ocean Prophets one, and the Grand Devotees quest from 2700. The source treated it as a bug and has listed it as fixed since 29 September 2026, although its general quests page still carries a note about the old 2675 threshold. If Submerged Quest Giver 3 offers you the quest before 2700, take it: it gives more EXP than the Ocean Prophets one.

For Beli, the source's island page lists 16,650 and 16,700 for these two quests. The figures used here come from the quest giver's page, both enemy pages and the general quest table: 15,650 and 15,700, which is 50 more per quest like everywhere else on the island.

Zone rules

• If you go too high above the island, or stray too far to the sides, you're sent back to the sea above and resurface at the Tiki Outpost.
• The Submarine Worker is also your exit: he takes you back for free to the Tiki Outpost, or takes you to other islands for 10,000 to 30,000 Beli.
• The island houses the Sealed Cavern, the lair of the Sharkman Master.

Good to know

• It's the second island built underwater, after the Underwater City. Notable difference: unlike the latter, Submerged Island is truly underwater.
• From the island, you can see the other islands of the Third Sea in the distance, above you.
• A secret diamond chest is hidden in a rock with no entrance. Drink a Loot Seeker potion to locate it.
• Bug reported since Update 27.0: using [F] or [C] of Dough on Submerged Island makes you ascend rapidly, forcing you out or even causing you to drown. The same effect occurs with [X] of Longsword and [F] of Blade.
• Since Update 28.0, there is a workaround to the Tyrant of the Skies requirement to bring a friend in: transform into Kitsune above the island's coordinates and use the grappling move [X] to push the target through the ocean ceiling.
• To enter this way yourself, you must maintain a sword or fighting style move while aiming straight toward the water's surface: [C] of Godhuman, [Z] of Sharkman Karate, [Z] of Dark Blade, or [Z] of Electric Claw.

Update history

Island : Submerged Island·Released : Update 27.0

1. Update 30 15 octobre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • Access: the Recommended Quest compass does not lead to the Submarine Worker but to the island's own spot, underwater (trivia on the source page, reworded on 15 October 2026; the source leveling guide also says the compass does not lead there properly). The entry says so in the access section.

2. Update 30 5 octobre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • Required levels for Submerged Quest Giver 3's two quests moved to 2700 (High Disciples) and 2725 (Grand Devotees), as on the source: its enemy and island pages since 29 September 2026, the quest giver's page since 5 October. The former thresholds (2675 and 2700), which the source filed as a bug, are still told on this page.
   • Beli rewards for these two quests aligned on 15,650 and 15,700, the figure shared by four source pages; only its island page shows 16,650 and 16,700.

3. Update 30 29 septembre 2026 Adjustment ▾

   • Island level range shown as "2600+", as on the source since 29 September 2026. The former wording pointed to the maximum level and displayed badly; access after Tyrant of the Skies is still explained below.
