Shizu (also called Shisui) is one of the three legendary swords of the Second Sea, rumored to be inhabited by a ghost. Its hallmark: almost instantaneous moves with very little endlag, enabling ultra-fast combos. A perfectly viable option in PvP, as long as you accept its small hitboxes.

How to get it

Sold for 2,000,000 Beli by the Legendary Sword Dealer, an NPC who rarely appears in the Second Sea. Each time he appears, he sells only one of the three legendary swords (Saishi, Shizu, or Oroshi): you need to wait for the right spawn. Leveling Shizu to 300 Mastery is also one of the conditions to obtain the True Triple Katana.

  • Good actual range: hits connect farther than the visuals suggest
  • Good damage and good combo potential
  • Both moves hit multiple targets and can hit Sea Beasts
  • Very fast projectile from [X], both on throw and in flight
  • Small hitboxes: requires precision to land hits
  • Does not break Instinct
  • Predictable at long range, difficult to land from afar
  • Cannot hit Blade users

Our take

A very good speed sword for PvP in the Second Sea: fast, fluid, with real combos. It demands aim and doesn't break Instinct, but between its solid damage and its role as a required stepping stone to the True Triple Katana, it's worth its 2 million.
