Blacksmith Blox Fruits: upgrade your weapons

The Blacksmith is the blacksmith of Blox Fruits, present in all three seas. He upgrades your swords and guns in exchange for materials, with damage bonuses that vary depending on the weapon in question. He's also a mandatory step before enchanting: as long as a weapon hasn't passed through his hands, you can't enchant it.

How to get it

Three locations, one per sea: Pirate Village (First Sea), Kingdom of Rose (Second Sea), and Port Town (Third Sea).

In Second Sea and Third Sea, he's located on the island where you first land. Not in First Sea: there, he's at Pirate Village, not on your starting island.

What he does for you

He upgrades your swords and guns, with damage bonuses that depend on the weapon being upgraded.
Each upgrade costs specific materials, usually related to the type or appearance of the weapon.
You must go through him before you can enchant a weapon. The upgrade is the prerequisite for enchanting.

Good to know

He's the only NPC in the game to hold an object in his hands: his hammer.

If you move far enough away, or even just move your camera away, he freezes in place. The same behavior as the color of Rainbow Saviour Aura, which stops changing color when the player or camera moves too far away.
