Lava is an environmental hazard present in all three seas of
Blox Fruits. Walking on it deals damage, except for a few immune players such as
Magma users. You can find it both on the map and in certain raids.
How It Works
- Any player walking on lava takes damage, except: players under
Lava Potion, who are covered on every source of lava; Magma users, covered on almost every source but the one on
Prehistoric Island; and transformed users of
Venom,
Mammoth,
Tiger, and
Werewolf. - You can find it on the Hot side of
Hot and Cold, above the
Cursed Ship, at
Magma Village, and on the volcano during the
Volcano Event on Prehistoric Island. - It also appears in raids like Flame Raids and Magma Raids; ironically, the lava in Magma Raids deals no damage.
- Standing perfectly still in lava deals no damage... but even the idle animation (your character looking around) counts as movement.
Good to Know
- Transformed Tiger and Venom have a hitbox above the ground and move freely on lava, but they still take damage if pushed into it. Awakened
Dough does not protect in all cases.
Buddha V2 has a strange hitbox: it can take significant damage near the edge of lava, so be careful when transforming.- In lava raids (
Flame), avoid risky mobility moves like
Diamond's: being thrown into lava is quickly fatal, regardless of your HP or defensive buffs. - The lava on Prehistoric Island is the odd one out: Magma's passive does nothing there, only the Lava Potion protects you. That is why groups drink one before starting the Volcano Event.
- Do not go down into the crater of the Prehistoric Island volcano. What sits inside is not lava and does not follow the same rules: you die on the spot, and your potion, fruit and race change nothing.
