Mad Scientist (Electric) - Blox Fruits

The Mad Scientist is the professor of the Electric fighting style, present in all three seas. In the First Sea, he hides behind a rock on the lowest island under the Skylands. Since Update 30, he asks for a Lightning Bolt before selling the style. You can also find him near the volcano of Hot and Cold (Second Sea) and at Castle on the Sea (Third Sea).

Where to find it

Found: Skylands (1/2/3).

The Lightning Bolt quest

Since Update 30, the Mad Scientist no longer sells Electric right away: he wants a Lightning Bolt first. At the Skylands, he is on your left when you arrive by the docks, behind a rock on the lowest island.

The Mad Scientist behind his rock, on the low island of the Skylands

Talk to him: he asks you for a Lightning Bolt.
Look for a storm cloud flashing dark grey. These clouds cycle around the perimeter of the islands and never go up to the Upper Skylands.
Break the cloud to drop the Lightning Bolt.
Bring it back to the Mad Scientist.

One Lightning Bolt is enough. The quest also counts as a Skylands island secret, named Missing Lightning Bolt, worth 5 secret levels.

The source does not say whether the Mad Scientist at Hot and Cold and the one at Castle on the Sea take the Lightning Bolt. When in doubt, hand it to the one at the Skylands.

What he offers

Electric (fighting style): 500,000 Beli, once the Lightning Bolt is handed over. Permanent purchase: you can relearn the style at any time by talking to him again.
Known bug: in the First Sea, he displays [Not Enough Money.] to players who came through a portal.
