Beast Hunter Blox Fruits: harpoon boat

The Beast Hunter is the only ship in the game to have a rarity (Legendary) and the only one that must be unlocked through crafting. Its harpoon at the front is the only way to retrieve the Leviathan Heart, the item that unlocks Sanguine Art, Mythical Scroll, and Draco's V4. It has 2,500 HP.

How to get it

It is crafted from the NPC Beast Hunter, then it appears permanently in the Boat Dealer catalog for 5,000 Beli whenever you want to spawn it.

The harpoon, how to use it

The harpoon is fixed at the front of the ship.
You aim its shot with the classic movement keys ([W], [A], [S], [D] on PC).
It works like a cannon: you need [M1] to fire.

What it's used for

Bring the Leviathan Heart to Tiki Outpost. The harpoon is what hooks the heart. Each player who participated in the fight against the Leviathan obtains it once the heart is brought to Tiki Outpost, provided they don't die on the way.
Freeze Hydra Island. By bringing the Leviathan Heart to the waterfall, as part of Draco's V4 quest.

In the Frozen Dimension

The ship recovers all of its HP when players enter combat.
It cannot be damaged by the Leviathan.

In other words, once in the Frozen Dimension, the return trip to Tiki Outpost or Hydra Island is safe: your survival is what matters, not the ship's.

Good to know

It's the only ship that requires a crafting recipe to be unlocked.
It's also the only ship to have a rarity displayed.
A historically widespread exploited bug: by launching the harpoon and then immediately using the [X] from Portal before sitting in a specific spot on the ship, the screen of all nearby players (except the one performing the manipulation) would freeze.
The three rear seats near the pilot's station were removed in Update 24.
