Freezing Hydra Island

Island

Freezing Hydra Island is a Third Sea event that freezes Hydra Island for a few minutes. It serves to open the Dojo Vault by lighting the lanterns in front of it - it's the mandatory step to obtain the Draco race Awakening.

How to get it

Unlock Draco V3, then hunt the Leviathan with the Beast Hunter boat. After the kill, harpoon the Leviathan Heart and bring it to Hydra Island's waterfall - the event triggers. You must be part of the group transporting the heart and not have died since its retrieval.

What you'll find there

  • The lanterns to light in front of the Dojo Vault (only if you meet the required conditions)
  • The Dojo Vault, the door to Draco's Race Awakening
The Dojo Vault during the event, the door to Draco's Race Awakening.

Good to know

  • The event lasts only about 5 to 15 minutes, and the Leviathan Heart disappears once the island is frozen.
  • You can fight the Leviathan with any race, but switch back to Draco after the freeze to light the dojo lanterns and open the vault.
