Mansion

Island

The Mansion, which everyone also calls Turtle Mansion, is the central building of Floating Turtle in the Third Sea. It's a Safe Zone packed with useful NPCs, featuring three trade tables, the server leaderboards, and a portal to Castle on the Sea. A large part of the Third Sea playerbase gathers there to trade or simply chat. The zone is calibrated for players level 1500 and above, set to the music Rule of Rose - Backbiting.

How to get it

Head to Floating Turtle in the Third Sea: the Mansion is the large building with yellow walls and a flat blue roof, right next to the Forest Pirates. You can enter through the main entrance, or use the portal from Castle on the Sea if you've already defeated the Raid Boss rip_indra at least once.

The NPCs you'll find there

First, the essentials: Home Points, the Blox Fruit Dealer, and the Blox Fruit Gacha.

NPCWhat they do
tortChanges your race to Human, Rabbit, Angel, or Shark. They can never give you back the race you already have, so it's a 1 in 3 chance for each of the other three. If you're Cyborg, Ghoul, or Draco, all four races are possible and the odds become 1 in 4 each
BaristaChanges your Aura color and Dragon skins in exchange for Berries and Fragments. Colors can be purchased from Barista Cousin, and you can also buy them directly from Barista for Robux
Bounty/Honor ExpertShows you the damage and defense bonuses in PvP that your bounty or honor gives you. You unlock new bonuses every 500k bounty or honor, some of which remain unknown to this day
Awakenings ExpertReverts any awakened move from your fruit to its non-awakened version, and vice versa. If your fruit isn't awakened or has no awakening at all, they refuse to talk to you
NerdDetails the bonuses of the accessory you're wearing. Without an accessory, they just hit you with "Are you lurking?" and cut it short
Titles SpecialistShows the list of titles you've unlocked and which ones you can equip. Your chosen title appears to the left of your username in chat, and you can only wear one at a time

The portal and the chess board

ElementDetails
PortalTeleports you to Castle on the Sea when you walk into it. Access requirement: you must have defeated the Raid Boss rip_indra at least once
Chess BoardOn the second floor, next to the Nerd. It's almost fully functional with a few bugs, and sometimes breaks for mobile players. You need two people to start a game

What it looks like

Outside, yellow plaster walls separated by white columns, a flat blue roof, and windows scattered everywhere. Inside, the atmosphere shifts: green walls, white and gold columns, two massive pillars in the main hall, white marble flooring, red carpets, and a mezzanine running around the upper walls. Doors are spread along the interior walls.

Inside the Mansion, green walls, white and gold columns, and a huge red carpet on white marble.

Good to know

  • The Bounty, Honor, and fastest raid leaderboards are displayed in the Mansion.
  • The Citizen, the one who gives the citizen quest, stands right in front of the building.
  • The Mansion and the Cafe share exactly the same visual theme.
  • The Inventory NPC once stood next to the Blox Fruit Gacha but was removed with Update 17.3.
  • The Vietnam Cone is hidden behind a mill near the Mansion. It's a nod from the developers to Vietnamese players, with no in-game use.
The Vietnam Cone, hidden behind a mill near the Mansion, a nod to Vietnamese players with no use.
  • The two large central pillars are hollow: with the right skills and patience, you can glitch inside.
  • The building has three floors, but the third is inaccessible.
  • If you use [C] Carved Dough from non-awakened Dough, you'll get stuck on the roof.
  • The source mentions two things it doesn't reconcile: on one hand, that the four top corners of the Mansion are not Safe Zones (the Safe Zone text disappears if you jump there), and on the other that as of Update 28 the Safe Zone has been enlarged and now covers the entire interior of the walls. It's impossible to know which one is still true today.
  • Be careful not to confuse this with the Mansion in the Second Sea, which is a different building.
