How to get it

Where: secret room beneath Diamond hill in the Second Sea (just walk through the wall to enter). Requirements: race already at V2, Don Swan defeated, and 2,000,000 Beli. Reward: your race upgrades to V3, with its ability on the T key.

Finding him

Arowe hides in a secret room beneath Diamond hill. Like most secret areas in the game, there's no door - you simply walk through the wall and pass right through.

Tip to land in the right spot: position yourself so that the tree on Diamond hill is aligned between the Factory and Jeremy's rock. The room is right behind it.

The requirements

You need the following three conditions in any order:

• Your race upgraded to V2
• Don Swan defeated
• 2,000,000 Beli in your pocket

If you're missing something, Arowe tells you "Come back when you're prepared enough" or, if it's money, "You're still lacking 2,000,000 Beli". If the race you talk to him with is already at V3, he just says "Friend."

Each race's trial

Human	Defeat Diamond, Jeremy, and Orbitus	In any order. Easy from level 1000 onward, but time-consuming if other players defeat the bosses before you - a private or low-population server makes a big difference
Shark	Defeat a naturally spawned Sea Beast	A Sea Beast summoned with Summon Sea Beast doesn't count
Rabbit	Collect 30 chests	The Loot Seeker potion makes them much easier to spot
Angel	Defeat another Angel race player	Challenging: Angel players are rare and often much higher level. No need to take their bounty
Ghoul	Defeat five players without dying	No need to take their bounty. A bug sometimes prevents certain kills from being counted - plan for one to three additional players. Doable in a private server
Cyborg	Show Arowe a physical Blox Fruit	He doesn't take the fruit, he just wants to see it
Draco	No trial	He simply says "What are you?" and doesn't evolve this race

A note on the Ghoul trial: the source asks for five different players while also stating in the same sentence that killing the same player multiple times is possible. The two contradict each other - verify in-game before organizing.

Know before you start

• If you leave the game, all trial progress is lost - you need to talk to Arowe again when you return to restart it from scratch. This works the same as the Alchemist.
• For Ghoul and Angel trials, kills don't need to earn you bounty or honor, but they don't count if they're deemed suspicious by the game (suspicious kill).
• Once his trial is complete, Arowe calls you "friend" instead of "sir".

Did you know

• Upgrading all races to V3 costs 15,000,000 Beli total, not counting Fragments spent on changing races between upgrades.
• The Dark Blade Slayer Skin requires having all races developed to V3, except Ghoul, Cyborg, and Draco.
• Arowe is one of the sons of rip_indra.
• The secret room's music is called Hypnotical Suspense (APM Music). You hear it too at Temple of Time and Secret Temple.
• Before Update 14, it was Wenlocktoad who filled this role. He was removed from the game and replaced by Arowe.
