Skylands, third island, in First Sea. There are 4 of them on location and they respawn 15 seconds after their death.

Associated Quest

The Sky Adventurer gives you the level 175 quest:

• Objective: defeat 8 Dark Masters
• Reward: 7,500 Beli and 450,000 EXP

Like everywhere in the game, it's the quest that pays, not the kills themselves: Dark Masters only drop about 300 Beli and 11,000 EXP per enemy.

Behavior and Farming

• They wield the Iron Mace and only use its basic attacks. Among them, an area smash that sends you flying, so able to break your farming rhythm if you stay close.
• They do not use Aura: from Lv. 177, an Elemental fruit or Blade immunity makes you immune to their attacks. That's two levels above theirs, a first in the game.
• Watch out for the Dark Master behind the rock: when you group the pack, it easily gets stuck on the rock. Make sure it clears the rock before you launch your AoE.
• Their behavior is identical to that of the Brutes: if you can manage those, you can manage these.

Do Not Confuse

• The Darkness Master is not related: it's the boss of a Dark Raid that uses the awakened Dark fruit. Only the names are similar.
• Appearance: white and blue pants, brown and black shoes, white and brown top, purple hands, hood, and especially black wings on the back.
