Blox Fruits day-night cycle: moon and Full Moon

The Nychthemeron is Blox Fruits' day-night cycle: the game alternates between day and night every 10 to 12 minutes, across all seas and servers. Certain items only spawn during day or night, and the moon follows true phases.

How it works

The sun rises when a new server starts or when the moon descends.

The moon follows the phases of the southern hemisphere: New Moon (0/4), Crescent (1/4), Quarter (1/2), Gibbous (3/4) then Full Moon (4/4), with a message on screen when the full moon begins.

A freshly created server always starts at First Quarter (half-moon).
The Blue Flower, used for Race V2, spawns at night in the Second Sea, regardless of the moon phase.
At night, Ghoul V2 passives activate; the Domain Expansion gear of Ghoul V4 keeps them active permanently, even during the day.

Good to know

If the Full Moon ends on a public server while you're in the middle of a puzzle, quest, or objective that depends on it, change servers: the opportunity has passed.
On a private server, have the server owner shut it down: the moon resets to First Quarter, and a new Full Moon returns in about 50 minutes.
Always keep an eye on the moon to prioritize what you need to do.
The full moon does not change the map's lighting. And Race Awakening no longer requires resonance from the Mirror Fractal with the full moon: it just needs to be nighttime.
