Behavior

They fight using the Combat fighting style. Their low HP and moderate damage are compensated by two tools:

• the Flash Step, which allows them to teleport;
• the Aura, which nullifies your Elemental immunity.

In combat, they regularly use Flash Step and then immediately follow up with a punch. It's precisely this teleport-and-attack combo that makes them difficult to read.

On each kill:

• approximately 400 Beli
• approximately 16,000 EXP

Note that the in-game quest title is written as "Defeat 8 Military Spys", a typo that the Fandom itself points out - the correct spelling would be Spies.

Farming Tips

• They have 3,025 HP, which is 425 less than Military Soldiers, their Lv. 300 neighbors. So they die faster, but they're much more annoying to hit.
• The source classifies them as notably difficult to farm, because of Flash Step and their unpredictability.
• The two best answers: Buddha, which greatly extends the range of your attacks, and Magma, which hits reasonably hard. Both work well against Magma Village enemies in general.
• The honest caveat from the source: these two fruits are difficult to obtain when you're still in the First Sea.
