Galley Pirates are level 625 enemies on the second floor of
Fountain City, in
First Sea. They wear a gray and black outfit and a gray four-pointed helmet marked with a red dot, and fight with the
Katana. They have no
Aura, they stay close to the quest giver, and this makes it the best spot in the area - the source recommends staying there until Lv. 725.
How to get it
On the second floor of Fountain City (First Sea), just next to the quest giver. There are 6 of them and they respawn every 16 seconds.
Their quest
| Giver | Objective | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Defeat 8 Galley Pirates (Lv. 625) | 10,000 Beli, 7,500,000 EXP |
What it drops
- About 500 Beli per kill
- About 20,000 EXP per kill
How it fights
- Weapon: the Katana, using the old [X], Air Slash.
- No Aura, so your
Elemental immunity works fully against them: it activates at Lv. 637 according to the source's infobox. - 5,625 HP, a base ATK of 303.8 brought down to 215.2 in practice.
Where to farm, and why here
- They are more profitable than their superior version, the
Galley Captains: no Aura and much better locations. - The source recommends staying on them until Lv. 725, because many players find the
Raiders that come next tedious to farm. - Another option to get past this threshold: server hop on the boss
Cyborg. - Note: the Fandom contradicts itself on this point: one passage claims you "can no longer farm them" since Update 24, the following recommends farming them until Lv. 725. What actually disappeared with Update 24 is the wall trick: enemies now hit through walls, so all combos consisting of hitting an enemy from cover no longer work.
Strengths and weaknesses
- Old [X] Air Slash of the Katana, which hits at range
- 5,625 HP, they don't fall in one M1 at their level
- No Aura: your Elemental immunity works fully starting from Lv. 637
- Grouped next to the quest giver, so very fast to chain
- Significantly easier to farm than the Galley Captains right after
