Ectoplasm

How to get it

You farm it from Cursed Ship enemies in the Second Sea. In the Third Sea, it also drops from Cursed Ship enemies that appear during a Pirate Raid, as well as during the Haunted Shipwreck Sea Event. To check your stock, talk to Guashiem.

What it does

Where to farm and how much

Enemy	Ectoplasm per kill
Ship Deckhand	1
Ship Engineer	1
Ship Steward	1
Ship Officer	1
Ghost Shark	4 to 5
Haunted Crew Member	4 to 5
Cursed Captain	10, guaranteed

The Fandom designates Ship Officers as the best enemies for Ectoplasm farming. Note: its infobox only lists Ship Deckhand, Engineer, Steward, Officer, the Cursed Captain and the Ghost Ship Raid, whereas its own acquisition section adds the Ghost Shark and the Haunted Crew Member.

Two express farming methods

• With Dragon (West), enter the Cursed Ship and spam [C]: the ability covers almost the entire area in one hit.
• With awakened Quake, [V] hits all enemies on the ship with a single move. Effective for Ectoplasm as well as Beli.

Crafting and upgrade

Item	Full cost
Skull Guitar	1 Dark Fragment, 500 Bones, 250 Ectoplasm, 5,000 Fragments
Dough upgrade	9,000 Fragments, 4 Nightmare Catcher, 16 Ectoplasm, 3 Magma Ore

Dough is the only Blox Fruit whose upgrade requires Ectoplasm.

What you can buy with

Purchase	Price
Ghoul Race	100 Ectoplasm and a Hellfire Torch
Midnight Blade	100 Ectoplasm
Ghoul Mask	50 Ectoplasm
Bizarre Revolver	25 Ectoplasm

The three titles

They unlock by reaching a certain stock of Ectoplasm:

The Lonely Reaper tier corresponds exactly to the maximum allowed stock (1,000), so you need to fill the reserve completely.

Things to know

• The Fandom announces that you need 581 Ectoplasm in total to buy everything that requires it. By adding up its own figures (250 + 16 + 100 + 25 + 50 + 100) we get 541 instead: take the 581 with a grain of salt, it's not detailed.
• The Cursed Captain is the only source with guaranteed drops: the rest of the crew only drops one per kill.
• The maximum stack is 1,000, so there's no point farming beyond that if you're already aiming for Lonely Reaper.
