The Dinghy is the free boat from the
Boat Dealer, the one almost everyone takes to sea for the first time. Two seats, 100 hull points, and a speed rated Slow - it's the bare minimum to travel from one island to another. The Fandom presents it as the second smallest and slowest boat in the game, and judges it quickly surpassed by the
Sloop.
How to get it
Free from the Boat Dealer.

What It Looks Like
A brown cylindrical half-hull, topped with a tiny cabin and a small square mast on the roof.
The two seats are arranged as follows:
- the captain's seat, at the front;
- the passenger seat, at the back, placed on the roof of the small cabin.
Why the Sloop Replaces It So Quickly
The Dinghy has the merit of being free, but it's immediately overshadowed by the Sloop, which is both affordable and the fastest non-premium boat.
| Detail | Sloop Cost |
|---|---|
| Standard Player | 300 Beli |
| Marine Player | 150 Beli |
To give you the scale: 300 Beli is roughly what any silver Chest contains in the
First Sea. Needless to say, you can afford the Sloop almost right away.
Good to Know
- It's the second smallest boat in the game, just barely beaten by the
Miracle. - Old trivia: there was once a glitch where you could lure bosses to boats to trap them there. It worked because back then, bosses didn't yet teleport to their spawn point when they strayed too far.
- History: released with Update 1, then reworked in Update 20.
Strengths and weaknesses
- Completely free from the Boat Dealer
- Available from the first minutes of gameplay
- Two seats, so you can bring someone along
- Only 100 hull points
- Speed rated Slow, the source even describes it as the slowest in the game
- The Sloop, faster, costs only 300 Beli (150 for
Marine)
