Hungry Man (Instinct V2) - Blox Fruits

The Hungry Man is the NPC who sells Instinct V2, the upgrade for Instinct. He lives in a pineapple cabin perched in the trees of Floating Turtle, in Third Sea. Before he sells you anything, he wants a proper meal: three fruits, served in a bowl. Once fed and if you meet his conditions, he offers you the upgrade for 5,000,000 Beli.

How to get it

On Floating Turtle (Third Sea): aim for the highest pineapple in the farthest tree.

Where to find him exactly

He lives in a pineapple house, in the trees of Floating Turtle. The right landmark: the highest pineapple in the farthest tree.

The highest pineapple, in the farthest tree of Floating Turtle.

A small altitude hint from the Fandom: he's the second highest NPC on Floating Turtle. Only the Horned Man is perched higher than him. If you climb and come across the Horned Man, you've gone too high.

The meal quest

The Hungry Man doesn't sell Instinct V2 right away; he starts with the Hungry Man Quest first:

1. He asks you for a proper meal.
2. You gather 3 fruits.
3. He refuses to eat from your hand: he also needs a bowl.
4. Meal served, he finally offers you the purchase.

The details matter: gathering the three fruits without the bowl isn't enough; he'll make that clear.

What Instinct V2 unlocks

The upgrade costs 5,000,000 Beli and provides, according to his own pitch:

See the level and hotbar of your opponents.
Better cooldown on dodges.
Less screen blur.
Attack prediction.
A faster dash toward players when you're in combat.

All his dialogues

What he says	What that means
Go away, weakling.	You don't meet all the conditions yet.
Hey, if you bring me a decent meal I can teach you something.	He offers you the meal quest: the Hungry Man Quest starts.
Nice you found 3 fruits, but I'm a picky person. I want to eat this in a bowl, can you do that for me?	You have the 3 fruits but you're missing the bowl.
Would you like to purchase Instinct V2 for 5,000,000 Beli?	Meal delivered and conditions met: the purchase is unlocked.
[Instinct Upgraded.]	It's done, your Instinct has been upgraded to V2.

Good to know

Physically, he's a castaway: brown pants and shirt in rags, sleeves torn off, holes everywhere, bare feet, bald head with nothing on top.

The Hungry Man, a castaway in ragged brown clothes.

According to the Butler, the Hungry Man spent his time boasting about having been a legendary pirate. The Fandom sees this as the explanation for his ability to teach Instinct V2.
The NPC arrived with Update 15.
